is tat means my new gc has problem?? need to send back to seller??
or just bcoz i uninstall the old driver & unplug old gc then straight install new gtx 260 without using driver cleaner then cause this problem?

btw, my previous gc is 8500gt, run this game is barely enuf
then how to support latest games tats why i just have this game but dun have other latest pc games

That's what I said, maybe your DVD content is corrupted.. (got scratch maybe) since u only encounter this during cut scenes and not the gameplay.. don't think there's anything wrong with ur gc, that's why I recommend u to play other games first to see if there's really got the same problem on the other games.. If not, then u are about to waste 1 month or more of ur life without any gc at all to send it for rma.

no i didn't say that it is your gc's problem bro... since when did i say that...

why dun u try reinstalling the game. or just simply get another game to try. rule out all the possibility one at a time.

according to the release note, there are approx 10% increase in preformance for quite a few games. who cares whether u can notice any diff, I just download the driver just bcoz it's new. besides, updating your driver is always a good thing (well, most of the time , except for some hiccups which even created bug rarely by developer itself)

I think the game problem la...y not u DL any Free Game Demo...like New Hawk Demo or Fear 2 Demo and try it out got problem or not.....

I did the same thing for my gtx260, just plug out my 8600GT and plugin the gtx260, boot up windows and update driver. Have played FC2, DOWII, L4D all without problem

I think it's better if you can find another game to test

some websites state that if set the shadow quality to super high, the game might crash in the mission 1 intro
so i set it to high quality & no problem

Galaxy GTX 260+ 65NM reporting in. Anything to push my GC further?

hahha yeah i didn't know about that until u ask me to try coz I just played it on high setting only

as a normal pc user/gamer, i suggest u not to overclock it for safety purpose
btw, rivatuner is a software tat can b used to overclock gc

even though dmc4 is optimised for pc, super high setting in 1920x1200 resolution might also make gtx 260 stressful
i think tats why u didnt try it
btw, i alwaz find problems accidentally kinda bad sometimes

1920x1080 at dx10 all settings super high,16xQ AA still playable for me.

average at 55fps

before dis i was at 1680x1050,100+ fps

btw..can gtx260 perform good at 1920X1080 reso?..i dont play to play this crysis,farcry2,GTA4 for this reso, only for normal game like Tom clancy's H.A.W.X

yes.but depends on ur preference.some ppl regard 30fps-50fps as slow,while its fast enough for me.as long its nt lag like 20fps below thn im ok with it

30-40fps is consider abit lagging for me mayb im sensitive
btw, fps thing is differ for each other
if feel good then ok aredi, no need so much fps waste pc usage

till nw i haven't encounter any really slow scenes in all my games at 1920x1080 reso.except for crysis warhead the train scene

crysis series is consider monster class pc requirement
btw, both crysis & warhead have good gameplay & replay value??
i might buy them soon
