hai guys
i just got my gtx 260 few days ago
ok, i will install it tonight
the latest driver version 182.06 support both my 8500gt & gtx 260
so, ca i just install gtx 260 without uninstall my latest nvidia driver??

guys, just installed palit gtx 260 sonic
everything seems good, but....
i accidentally bend my IDE cable, make my dvd drive hang awhile

i think software is the only thing tat we can control fan
btw, how to check whether my new psu & gtx 260 function properly??
some of u guys said using furmark or 3dmark to stress gpu
then how to test the psu??
so far now i only test devil may cry 4 & maple story no problem at all

when i watch the DMC4's event movie (just b4 mission 1 start)
the game suddenly crash, and windows ask me to send error report or dont send
gpu problem??
i just uninstall 8500gt driver via device manager then straightly reboot & shutdown it (without using driver cleaner)
then i plug in gtx 260 then boot up pc & install new 182.08 driver
yesterday run DMC4 benchmark test without any problem occurs (all super high, 60fps max, 8x MSAA, vsync off)
is it psu has problem?? but if psu has problem, isnt pc will shutdown automatically??
will the problem occur bcoz my mobo does not support pci-e 2.0??

test awhile, played the bloody palace till mission 20 then lose, no crash
then play some cut-in movies via story theater, no problem occur at all
then watch again the mission 1 intro movie, then crash
looks like only that cut-in movie has problem?? will uninstall fix it??

still like tat mayb my some of my game dvd data corrupt coz has many scratches
haiz mayb i borrow my fren pirate version to test again

only have this game right now maple story can also be classified as pc game
btw, i dun think it is gc's problem, bcoz only tat cut-in movie in mission 1 has problem

mine is latest 182.08 driver

install again no change

since u said tat it might b my gc problems
is tat means my new gc has problem?? need to send back to seller??
or just bcoz i uninstall the old driver & unplug old gc then straight install new gtx 260 without using driver cleaner then cause this problem?

btw, my previous gc is 8500gt, run this game is barely enuf
then how to support latest games tats why i just have this game but dun have other latest pc games

btw, this game seems has some bugs
some websites state that if set the shadow quality to super high, the game might crash in the mission 1 intro
so i set it to high quality & no problem

as a normal pc user/gamer, i suggest u not to overclock it for safety purpose
btw, rivatuner is a software tat can b used to overclock gc

even though dmc4 is optimised for pc, super high setting in 1920x1200 resolution might also make gtx 260 stressful
i think tats why u didnt try it
btw, i alwaz find problems accidentally kinda bad sometimes

30-40fps is consider abit lagging for me mayb im sensitive
btw, fps thing is differ for each other
if feel good then ok aredi, no need so much fps waste pc usage

crysis series is consider monster class pc requirement
btw, both crysis & warhead have good gameplay & replay value??
i might buy them soon

not worth both of them have the approximately similar perfomance in most games
even though u have enuf money, i also dun advise u buy it to replace 4870

576Mhz gtx 260 and a factory pre-oc gtx 260, which one has the longer life time??

new technologies are released often
my e8200 cost RM600+ last year, but now...extinct aredi
later gtx 260 mayb cost RM500+ only

i can even try triple gtx260 SLi that time
i think probably around year 2010
mayb gtx 260 will become another 8800gt ideal combo of power,performance & price

single gpu graphic cards are always recommend
palit gtx 260 is good
mind to state ur rigs so that ppl can recommend u the best gc that suit ur pc
