Yea it's weird that you're the only one experiencing the bad connection 9M-MAS. I saw some posts a few pages back for some others but it seems the problem has been rectified for them.

I think i also read to try uninstalling your modem software and install it again or locking your modem to receive hspda only. This might improve. Hope you can get back to speed with the rest of us digi BB'ers smile.gif

Actually I had the same problem with the buffering and stalling as well. Usually happened during night time.

I guess digi should start doing something about this before it spreads out like the t virus and effects everyone using digi bb. It hasn't happened to me yet (thankfully) but i hope your's get fixed soon.

WHat's your location, mp3?

I don't know if it's a problem inherent with 3G technology. It has happened to me with all 3G ISPs I've used, except U Mobile.

I have problems with uploading photos over Facebook though and I am not sure if it is a problem on Facebook side or on the ISP. When I hit the upload button, it just doesn't respond. Nothing is being uploaded. Sometimes it'll stay there until time out. Sometimes it'll upload and there's a lot of activity. Just before the last picture is uploaded, then Facebook say upload fail. Probably time out again.

Sometimes, Facebook just say upload fail even though the process has just started. On average, I need to repeat this cycle for like 3-4 times before things go on their way.

Has anybody encountered this issue?

I don't think facebook is the only one having this problem.
Generally, for my case, it's happening to me to whatever uploads that has files size bigger than 3-5MB.
Be it facebook, gmail, hotmail, blogspot, my upload will just suddenly stop prematurely.

I've been having the same problem with 9M-MAS recently. Line was fantastic until sometime earlier this week, when I keep losing my signal and got stuck at 0kbps a lot, and my downloads keep stalling midway through. Youtube doesn't stream, facebook loads funny, images above 100kb won't upload etc. sad.gif

I've read that there is a way to force the network to only accept wcdma signal, but how exactly can I do that? I read that I'm supposed to change it via tools->options->network->network type, but all the editable fields in the network tab is locked for some reason... Can someone help me please? I really detest getting EDGE some 30-40% of the time when I paid for better. :/

you must plug in your modem, but stay unconnected for you to change the network settings.

You serious you're getting that figure as an actual speed?
Coz I don't think 3g infrastructure even has that kind of speed even with optimal condition is met.

I am wondering about pre-launch package. Why the download speed can goes up to 24Mb/s?? I thought the modem can only handle 7.2Mbps?? Lolz. But... How nice if i'm using that package. Really awesome speed.

i notice for me.. it's boils down to
a) browser - upload works for IE, not for firefox or mozilla, but depends on applications, see #2
b) web sites - gmail, firefox, microsoft web outlook cannot upload attachment, but using the same browser, yahoo mail can upload (guess it depends on the coding and how they implement uploads)

i don't think it's isp problem coz i can't upload facebook from my company network or streamyx also.. and facebook is notorious (at least for me) for upload fail when using the java uploader.. have to try many times.. happens for my laptop, and my wife laptop no matter which isp we're on
