Can i connect to internet using EDGE when i'm not in digi 3G coverage. As example, now i studying in PJ, covered with 3G but when i go back my hometown(bintulu,sarawak), based on digi website, only got EDGE coverage. Possible to use at my hometown??

.... Damn dealer at KLCC... I applied the student package on saturday but until now i still cannot use. Called digi and gave them the network ID(which the dealer gave me) but it's registered under other ppl's name. Confirm with SIM card no. then digi operator tell me that the simcard is not in use... I still cannot use after 3 days... Called Phone Hut Sdn Bhd just now but still no reply. Now i got the modem but useless.

Yes~ My broadband can be used on the day i call my agent. Got a new network ID for my SIM card. Total satisfaction for it. Living in PJ with full coverage. 1st week experience is awesome. But at the same time, the counter is increasingly incredibly fast. One week time, i used 2GB~~ But i'm on student discover campus package so there's no over limit charge. Hehe. But after 3GB then i will be suffering with EDGE speed.
Er... something to ask. For student package (discover campus?), can someone confirm for me is it there is no over limit charge after 3GB?
And... i heard my friend say that the speed will be limited after 3GB but after midnight then the speed will be increased. Isit true?

Er... i got no prob at all?? Dling from gougou.com at stable 100KB/s. But load youtube got some prob. Broadband latency high is usual. No one replied my questions??

There is a long cable. Check the box. It's just behind the place modem is placed. If dun have then maybe they missed it when packaging. Lolz

Oo... Speedtest.net shows that my ip at sabah~~ So funny... So far the lowest PING i can get from speedtest.net server is penang. 66ms. Dunno why only penang server can get 6X ms ping.

Why my current charges only RM34.32?? I subscribe to discover d'campus(something like that). Monthly fee shd be RM58, free modem. Anyone can count for me?? Lolz. Current balance is -65.68.

I'm in PJ Sec 17. Have been using DiGi BB for one month. Stable 1M(or more) downlink. No throttling or whatever... Just sometime maybe got little connection problem but overall, it's awesome, even better compare to my home streamyx(my hometown). My place is near Lisa De Inn, full bar(5~6 bars, not confirm). Another friend live near happy mansion flat also having nice speed. And... nearly all area around Sec 17 is covered (based on what the promoter told me at PC Fair). Sec 13, 14 and SS2 also covered. But the 3G signal will be quite weak when use it underground. Only EDGE speed will be detected.
I think u can apply with no worry. If u scare no coverage(quite impossible), you can get someone to check the coverage at your place. I think there are forumers offering this service.

If want speedtest result, can check back a few pages. I posted it two weeks ago.

Even though high PING to most foreign servers but it will still goes up to 1mbps. With local server(penang, KL and SG), the PING usually 2XXms. Penang server got the lowest PING, about 50~100ms.

I think 20hours quite ok le. I call back to my hometown everyday still nvr exceed 20 hours. Lolz. Using postpaid 1+5 from celcom too. One day call half hour alrdy more than enough. Nothing much to talk too. This is just my opinion. Hehe

I had exceed quota for two months. But haven't experience any FUP.

I am wondering about pre-launch package. Why the download speed can goes up to 24Mb/s?? I thought the modem can only handle 7.2Mbps?? Lolz. But... How nice if i'm using that package. Really awesome speed.

Well... At KLIA now. I nvr thought that KLIA here got coverage. Now at gate A9. HSDPA not EDGE. Lolz

My question:
How to play Maple Story with DiGi BB? Tried b4 but it stuck at the hack shield there. Will pop out error say what unable to update or connect to the server. Now use home streamyx can play with no prob.

Hope any user can give me suggestion or solution. Will try it as soon as i went back to KL. Thx.

Seems like i'm not the only one experiencing it. Tried to speed test... Max speed i can reach is 450kbps while ping... 3k+ to penang server!

... trying to test out mobile partner software for my fren but end up mess up the digi's mobile partner software... Took me so long time keep trying to reinstall only get it done. Now using mobile partner software from huawei coz can read SMS in SIM card xD and won't pop up the internet browser everytime connect. Lolz

I think it's better. But another prob with me is not used with the KB scale. Used to digi's mobile partner kb scale. Lolz

Lolz... Don't upgrade firmware as long as the old firmware not causing any prob. And... i got no answer for u. Lolz I didn't touch anything in the modem, just the software
