in term of stability, digi done right
my concern is
they haven't reduce the speed after we hit the cap amount
i'm sure it's not going to be forever
after thye implement FUP
guess i need to find another BB provider sad.gif
*
are u sure they are yet to implement FUP?
coz i already experienced the capped speed after exceeding the quota this month

Try to reinstall ur software or check wat's wrong with your pc.

I thought only Sscreamyx & Sialcom gives that kind of excuse. ANyway I am sure it's not my PC because this slowdown and frequent disconnects only happen at night.

Added on September 12, 2009, 2:56 pmJust got off the phone with a DiGi CSR, He says it's a policy to limit non-HTTP traffic between 6PM and 12AM everyday - includes youtube and any other form of streaming. Warrghhhhhh mad.gif

Same thing happen to me. Just call CS and they will take it off the existing and future bills. Nothing to worry about. 2 thumbs to their CS for rectifying the error immediately rclxms.gif

Anyone living in Cheras having a hiccup tonite?

I am having a great download speed but upload at only 20kbps average which is a no-no for online gaming, resulting in 1500ms ping on average.

Even my twitterfox isnt updating.

hmmm.??

Bandar Tun Razak here. Been very, very bad the last couple of nights. Streaming radio & youtube is a very annoying experience right now. Keep buffering.

Living in Taman Maluri here.

Yeah, i realize how you used to have a good n stable connection.

Been quite a hiccup lately especially on weekends (day), but still bearable.

Just restarted my lappy and will see how things are going.

----------------------------------------------------------------

All right, things are back to normal with normal wireless ping of 150-500ms based on servers location.

Bandar Tun Razak seems to have degraded ya..

hmmm

Thanks for informing that.
I was charged again this month, would call them up.

From their email,

Thank you for your e-mail.

With regards to the above, please note that your account was to receive the discount on the modem, however due to certain unforeseen issues it was not. Kindly do contact the Broadband Team at 016-2993333 for immediate rectification and adjustment. We seek your kind understanding.

I feel like I was deceived for the free modem sweat.gif

That is it. I have had enough of my connection being terminated repeatedly after 30-second idling, my big downloads stalling, and my youtube buffering. 3G is simply not the way forward for data/Internet. I'm going to Mon't Kiara and terminating my DiGi BB.

I have both the DiGi-given E160 and E220. I don't see any difference between the two after testing. Same symptoms prevail.

To be fair, HTTP websurfing is OK. I just cannot stand my downloads stalling midway, youtube buffering, and getting disconnected if I idle more than 30 seconds (I have to resort to leaving a continouous ping window open). I don't even P2P.

Yea it's weird that you're the only one experiencing the bad connection 9M-MAS. I saw some posts a few pages back for some others but it seems the problem has been rectified for them.

I think i also read to try uninstalling your modem software and install it again or locking your modem to receive hspda only. This might improve. Hope you can get back to speed with the rest of us digi BB'ers smile.gif
