Does anyone know if i can use my existing digi line together with this?
Currently i'm on edge using my postpaid line and i use my phone as a modem. Would be cool if i could just switch from edge to bb without having to get another sim and use my existing phone as modem...

It depends on the package...For rm58 use till 3gb then will be charged till rm138 (still at bb speed) and then after rm138 reached you will get throttled to normal speed...

I've signed up to the explore package at PC fair yesterday as well. Woo hoo... I'm very satisfied with the speed and consistency so far. Averaging 1.0m most of the time I subscribed late last nite and got activated this morning. They told me it might take longer than the usual 2 hours to activate due to many subscribers from PC fair hehe...Many subscribers huh... Good for Digi

Here are my speedtest results :- It's been very consistent here in damansara area. Youtube has been great. Did not experience the cut offs so far. Browsing too has been great but i experienced cutoffs (not loading for a few secs) only two or three times, so not a problem. Torrenting has been on and off for speeds (average of 10kbps to 70kbps if fast) but i don't usually torrent, only did it for testing Managed to use up 3gigs in a week and even then i had some friends over and i asked them to download stuffs hehe... Quite satisfied with the explore package i bought in pc fair This post has been edited by plateau: Aug 11 2009, 02:19 PM

My speed today :- Explore package. Damansara area 17th floor condo Added on August 30, 2009, 2:37 pmQUOTE(othniel91 @ Aug 30 2009, 01:04 PM) Really this is the fastest in Kota Kinabalu. Got mine during a promotion in Karamunsing, Rm 88 a month, unlimited bandwith, free modem. I pay Rm 100 front payment, go home and it was activated!!! Downloading torrent was great too, bye bye streamyx. Welcome to the club! Just a note, it's not unlimited bandwidth but unlimited surfing. Your broadband bandwidth will be throttled after 10gb of use (explore) but no extra charges unlike the normal package which got extra charges if you exceed the allocated bandwidth. It's the same package i got in kl pc fair for rm88. Added on August 30, 2009, 2:54 pmQUOTE(transformer88 @ Aug 29 2009, 11:20 PM) hi wscheong, tq vy much for yr reply.. cud u tell us how do u "force" the login mode into 3G onli?? TQ for your assistance.. hav a nice weekend!! You force it by going to your digi broadband settings which is your modem settings page. If you're using the default modem that came with your digi broadband package (make sure you're disconnected), got to tools > options > network type > and make the settings to wcdma only. QUOTE(colt45 @ Aug 30 2009, 03:46 PM) where to sign up? in Digi website doesnt mention anything on these promo how much to pay - 1st time payment There's a mention of the latest promotion a few posts back somewhere in Penang (Queensbay Mall i think) now for the rm78 package. Digi won't mention these mini promotions on their site. If you're in KL, in the weekends try heading to Low Yat for rm88 package (can't confirm). As for the first payment, it's rm100 and that's it Did i mention my speedtest for today (explore) :- This post has been edited by plateau: Aug 30 2009, 03:59 PM

KL used to have that rm78 package back then when digi BB came out. Since it's only recently launched in Penang (i think?), that's why got the rm78 package now.

I cannot confirm if the promo is still there but i've heard some saying that it is still there. You can go and check it out yourself or wait for another forumer that can confirm this.

To clear some confusion among us all. RM88 (explore) for unlimited access, meaning monthly bandwidth transfer of 10gb. And when you exceed the FUP, you'll get throttled to edge but no extra charges. Unlike the normal explore package which costs rm108 per month and if you exceed the bandwidth, you'll still get charged till rm138. Only after rm138 will you get throttled to edge. Confusing huh

QUOTE(philippecr @ Sep 1 2009, 03:18 PM) Just now gave a feedback at Digi OCS.... receive a call from their CUSCARE service almost immediatly in just 1 hour time(tats damn fast compare to other services...) Digi CustCare rocks. Got the latest news from the operator. The charges for over-bandwidth is HISTORY! XD the speed will still cap at GPRS or EDGE speed and no extra charges anymore! WOOHOO! Yellow man rocks! Really?!! That's good news then. No more worrying about extra charges then for those who got the normal package Now only thing is digi has to update their webpage. To check if your area got 3g coverage or not, use your phone. Set your network selection to manual, get it to search for services and if you see digi has 3g signal, you're probably covered.

I really don't know why you're always having these problems with the services 9M-MAS. It's always been fast on my side in Damansara. Maybe it's your area or something. I hope you get your speed back to normal.

There was an occasional hiccup here and there but guys, which internet provider can give you perfect connection 100% of the time now? At least with digi, i can say it's very stable 90% of the time. Only maybe the occasional hiccup 10% of the time, but still can do fast surfing during these times. But yea, it's of course best if we can get 100% stability all the time.

Try complaining to CS. Maybe they'll get to the root of your problem and hopefully giving you a fix...

Yea it's weird that you're the only one experiencing the bad connection 9M-MAS. I saw some posts a few pages back for some others but it seems the problem has been rectified for them. I think i also read to try uninstalling your modem software and install it again or locking your modem to receive hspda only. This might improve. Hope you can get back to speed with the rest of us digi BB'ers This post has been edited by plateau: Sep 14 2009, 01:41 PM

I guess digi should start doing something about this before it spreads out like the t virus and effects everyone using digi bb. It hasn't happened to me yet (thankfully) but i hope your's get fixed soon.
