I cannot confirm if the promo is still there but i've heard some saying that it is still there. You can go and check it out yourself or wait for another forumer that can confirm this.

Is it really faster using it on rapidshare or megaupload free user? This post has been edited by newtester: Aug 31 2009, 02:01 AM

QUOTE(davidmak @ Aug 29 2009, 11:45 AM) For me, the USB modem is already stuck at WCDMA only. There seems to be a problem over the last 2 days in Taman Midah where the signal will just disappear and cause a disconnection. Then it takes a long time for it to re-detect WCDMA signal. What I did was just unplug and plug it back in. Bam! Signal is there. Seems like it was a disconnection on purpose or something. But that incident did not repeat itself anymore. Been using for the pass 12 hours. Problem free. wcdma only u get it when u haven to connect if u connect already will be hsdpa sign . pls be understand the good way pls setting to wcdma only at your network setting This post has been edited by NicolasLau: Aug 31 2009, 09:12 AM

To clear some confusion among us all. RM88 (explore) for unlimited access, meaning monthly bandwidth transfer of 10gb. And when you exceed the FUP, you'll get throttled to edge but no extra charges. Unlike the normal explore package which costs rm108 per month and if you exceed the bandwidth, you'll still get charged till rm138. Only after rm138 will you get throttled to edge. Confusing huh

Lately I seem to be experiencing a lot of stalled downloads...surfing & streaming seems OK though. I thought it may be a problem with the download server but seems to happen to all my big downloads (all HTTP/FTP) from various servers...why ah? BY big I mean files that are more than 50MB in size

went to QB on merdeka eve to check out any special sale there before leaving, went down to the jusco supermarket to get toiletterie but the queue at the counter is very long so decided to go get it a the pharmacy then walk past the digi stall which is always there and saw RM88 printed on an A4 paper and thought "seems like PCFair promo didn't finish" then on closer look, it's RM78! promoter said it is Merdeka promo so quick quick sign up. Luckily didn't have time and energy to sign up during PCFair didn't expect Digi to provide a huawei modem

BY big I mean files that are more than 50MB in size I only have problem with Facebook picture upload. Everytime I want to upload photos, the upload meter will immediate go to 0 and it'll stay there until Facebook timeout. I don't know if this is Digi's problem or Facebook problem. I don't have another internet service to verify.

Just now gave a feedback at Digi OCS.... receive a call from their CUSCARE service almost immediatly in just 1 hour time(tats damn fast compare to other services...) Digi CustCare rocks. Got the latest news from the operator. The charges for over-bandwidth is HISTORY! XD the speed will still cap at GPRS or EDGE speed and no extra charges anymore! WOOHOO! Yellow man rocks!
