Yes u can but they wont guarantee the speed. They wont stop consumer from applying as it is not based on where we stay. Makes no sense as it is suppose to be mobile. I am using Digi broadband eventhough not officially covered. So far satisfied with it.

Something very wrong over in Taman Midah area. Gets disconnected every few minutes with the following observation:

- Modem drops from HSDPA to WCDMA, downloads just zeroed, and then no signal at all. Everything stops dead.
- Router says no IP found
- Takes along time before service restore unless I manually reset the USB modem.

Something wrong with the base station. I am very very sure there's nothing wrong with my account or excessive usage.

Digi BB is doing a promotion in Queensbay PG now... RM78 for Explore package (free modem)... the booth is near McDonald (LG floor).

Note: RM78 for first year only... no extra charges after 10GB but speed will be throttled to EDGE only. Hence, they claim it as unlimited... Remember, it's not a true unlimited (LYA 700kbps unlimited), it's unlimited browsing with throttle speed...

hi guys & gals... DIGI Broadband sucks big time after they started launching it more aggressive!! i'm on extreme package.. it was doing well initially, but for the past few days, it has the following problems!

1. line kept dropping & i have to either reconnect via digi login or manually disconnect & log in again;

2. line kept switching to edge or wcdma..; and

3. cannot connect to digi router..error 619

WHAT'S WRONG??? Really want to throw the modem back to them!! going stupid celcom & maxis way... TSK! TSK!

Don't know why it's not working well for you but it's perfect for me. Maybe you should call customer service and see what the problem is. I'm in damansara area.

Hey dude, i think the problem was that u did not configure ur modem properly.
I forced my 2nd hand PCMCIA Globetrotter 3G+ to only connect HSDPA only.
I am way out of coverage ,using in Bandar Puchong Jaya(3 bar), Sri Petaling (4bar)and Serdang Hospital(1 bar)
with full speed.

U see, most of the modem works by connecting to best network if u dont configure it. So if ur area has better edge signal then 3G,then u will automatically be connected edge instead of 3G even though u r within coverage.
Even u select preferred 3G , it still doenst pick up 3G and cont to connect as edge.
Then with experiment, i choose 3G only connection , i got full speed almost everywhere in Klang Valley.(even in area not stated in coverage map). But bear in mind with this option selected , u might not be able to connect to internet on other states.

Hope this trick work for u guys.

For me, the USB modem is already stuck at WCDMA only. There seems to be a problem over the last 2 days in Taman Midah where the signal will just disappear and cause a disconnection. Then it takes a long time for it to re-detect WCDMA signal. What I did was just unplug and plug it back in. Bam! Signal is there. Seems like it was a disconnection on purpose or something.

But that incident did not repeat itself anymore. Been using for the pass 12 hours. Problem free.
