hi, anyone know what is the monthly fee for the Explore package that comes with the HP mini that is currently being offered for the PC Fair promo? thanks.
as for the slow down yesterday, i wonder is it anything to do with the gateway or main backbone (TMNet owns this right)? this is because even my company's corporate line is very slow at around 6.30 when i tried to download a driver. I got around 7-8 kbps compared to 6-7 Mbps this morning

QUOTE(ks98 @ Aug 7 2009, 03:22 PM) If i'm correct, it should be RM138 for 24 months (HP Mini package with Explore package) and for 16GB limit. then it is the same as the usual HP min promo, isn't it anyway, the PC Fair Explore package is a pretty good deal

went to QB on merdeka eve to check out any special sale there before leaving, went down to the jusco supermarket to get toiletterie but the queue at the counter is very long so decided to go get it a the pharmacy then walk past the digi stall which is always there and saw RM88 printed on an A4 paper and thought "seems like PCFair promo didn't finish" then on closer look, it's RM78! promoter said it is Merdeka promo so quick quick sign up. Luckily didn't have time and energy to sign up during PCFair didn't expect Digi to provide a huawei modem

QUOTE(vista enthusiasist @ Sep 6 2009, 11:33 AM) Does digi broadband has trial?I scare i'm not satisfied with the performance. Any digi broadband users in Sungai Ara, Penang here how's the speed and stability? the agent who sold me the package said if i terminate within 7 days, i can return the modem and only lose the RM10 stamp duty so it is like RM10 for a 7-day trial usage

in my opinion, unless you consistently need >10G of bandwidth per month and able to get the 78 or 88 per month package, i don't think it's very worth
if the 78 or 88 package doesn't get extended after the first year is up, i have the option and flexibility to switch to other service provider that gives the best package
in addition, i have the flexibility to choose the netbook that i like, although most likely, it won't have the modem built-in

QUOTE(gsJackMin @ Sep 25 2009, 07:45 PM) hi guys, i finally managed get my digi bb extreme package to work....... hmm but it doesnt really impress me much compared to my previous streamyx 2mb. so far im getting only bout 1900-2000+kbps download frm speedtest, my rm77 streamyx package can do about 1800kpbs d/l.. zzzzz . nw testing torrent d/l , but still not much different than my streamyx. is there something wrong here? im seeing ppl getting 4-7mb connection frm this package, while im getting a lousy 2mb. another question is, do u guys usually get faster connection after midnite? im also havnt cancel my current streamyx connection, so is it possible that i can combine both digi + streamyx to make my internet much faster for d/l n etc? the main advantage of the Digi BB is mobility, something that streamyx can't really offer speed wise, streamyx can offer better speed, as long as you are willing to pay
