You are subscribing Extreme plan is it? Hehehe so nice the speed. But I'm happy with mine even though it is 1Mbps. At least it is consistent minus the disconnection problem though. Lets hope it doesn't happen during a download. Haha!

I'm not too sure what went wrong with DiGi Broadband at the moment but yes it is annoying to get disconnections. It could be that there are more subscribers now and they are not handling it efficiently.

subscribers now frust menonggeng with celcom so the switch to Digi lor

btw, i have a noob question.
why latency factor here is important, are they connected with the time to take a page to fully load or time taken for data to be send/received?
example, with my poor capped celcom bb it takes about 2-3 minutes for a page to load fully

Well, latency is mainly important for gamers. As for web browsing, the latency will help improve the responsiveness. For example, if the latency is low to this forum say about 15ms, the moment you click to go to a topic you will almost immediately enter that topic and start loading it.

Have anyone tried playing online game? I was hoping to convert completely if the latency is good but if its bad, I think I'd take the cheapest package to use for downloads and on the road.

I tried and it was fine but I'd still prefer a wired broadband though. If you don't mind a slightly higher latency then by all means you can go for this. smile.gif

I wonder when they will have this service in Kuching... DIGI EDGE signal is now very strong and stable where I am at. When they have 3G in my area I think I will switch to Digi from Celcom.

It will deploy sooner or later. Right now, its more about covering the major cities. It will come.

If you are a DiGi user now, just plug it in to any 3G phones and manually search for networks available, if DiGi 3G is available then it shouldn't be long before your area is covered. smile.gif

Thanks for the explanation smile.gif

I guess latency for normal user like me doesnt mean anything at all tongue.gif
what i do care is about the connection stability & ability to do direct download of average speed about 15-20kbps, even being capped, that is ok for me biggrin.gif

still waiting for Digi broadband to reach my place in Tmn maluri. Darn it, short of 100-300meters to my house. Other parts of taman maluri is covered though.. urggghh.. but checking on my phone, there is a 3g digi.. all i can do is wait now.

anyway preducer,

i think digi broandband will run fine on online games, though i dont know what kind of games though. I play Left 4 Dead(FPS) and occasionally TF2 on celcom 3g (384kbps with 200+ms), runs fine too except with few minor hiccups here and there especially on saturday night. So, i think (just an opinion not fact..huhu), digi broadband probably would do just fine.

If you can see 3G icon on your phone, shouldn't be a problem for you to access right? smile.gif

MMORPGs , I used Ragnarok Online (International server) and CabalSEA for testing and it turned out well and acceptable for me.
