Digi is Israel company, dont believe them, they have many trick like celcom or more than, all capping problem will not be stopped, that is their tactic in business...

maybe network not really congested yet leh..

maybe when everybody jumps to digi the t&C will get activated..

still waiting for Digi broadband to reach my place in Tmn maluri.  Darn it, short of 100-300meters to my house.  Other parts of taman maluri is covered though.. urggghh.. but checking on my phone, there is a 3g digi.. all i can do is wait now.

i think digi broandband will run fine on online games, though i dont know what kind of games though.  I play Left 4 Dead(FPS) and occasionally TF2 on celcom 3g (384kbps with 200+ms), runs fine too except with few minor hiccups here and there especially on saturday night.  So, i think (just an opinion not fact..huhu), digi broadband probably would do just fine.

Perhaps you can consider going for the RM108 package since you were on a Celcom D98 plan before.

After 3GB, u will still be running at the avg speeds of 700/200 till u reach ur max cap at RM138
After RM138, throttled to EDGE speeds

i think ppl juz dun realize/care about de xtra charge of 15cents/10MB after 3GB of usage...they juz c da RM58 only dats all...later on they wil blame digi 4 charging more than they tot

just buy a wireless router la, enjoy 1.5mbps stable connection from streamyx... unlimited usage.. haha

Ok.. my data unlimted (EDGE) contract v DG will expire soon in June.. So, i am in doubt now to weather
1. To sign for DG 3G broadband RM 58 or
2. To continue the EDGE data unlimited plan...

But, my area is still not cover by DG3G broadband.. If i sign for this, then my speed will be EDGE speed.. If this is true, then must well i continue the EDGE plan... But, i want faster speed.. Even if i would cross over to Maxis/Celcom, then it raises another concern...
a.Maxis/Celcom 3G coverage is not as wide as EDGE.. Which mean that most the time when i am traveling.. I got GPRS speed.. Hai yo... very headache.. Your advice & opinion is needed.. TQ

P/S: FYI, i had with EDGE unlimited plan for the past 2 YEARS.. From the Bill, my GPRS/EDGE data never exceed 3GB usage.I am from PG,my friend who work in DG said they will do a roadshow for the 3G broadband roll out for PG in May. And he will borrow me his 3G broadband SIM for me to test in my house..  

I think you're right. Mobility is what these Mobile Broadband players are offering and they are really hitting on TM to areas where they can't compete. Perhaps that is why recently TM had to bundled in the Celcom Broadband 384k to a Streamyx 1Mbps plan. Also if you add in RM15, you get TM Hotspots (WIFI) too! They really acknowledge these shortcomings and come out with such a plan.

In the market, we have many kinds of consumer and usually the internet subscribers are pretty sophisticated and go into the net whenever they have an opportunity. Of course we do have other kind of consumers, the ones who are not addicted to the internet and such and such.

The fair usage policy.. Is it only happend in a Malaysia boleh country? Do u come across to know any others country's (US,Uk, Singapore,etc..)wireless broadband provider having this policy?

The not-so-smooth connection still persists?  I am having it today.. urgghh.  Quite annoying to keep refreshing the page, and yet, i am not on 3 web pages running simultaneously at all. The page still loads fast, but the repetitive clicking (refreshing) n incomplete web page are annoying.

Haha, i am preparing back my CBP just in case digi is having hiccups.

I am just going to see how things are over the next few days.
