Good question.
Was wondering myself how much does a normal haircut over there cost

cheap ones approx 12-15, reaching 20... more fancy hairdressers probably around 30. You want stylish one then pay more loh... pretty much same as M'sia, just dollar-to-dollar.

Wow. That's really a very helpful information. Thanks guys. I'm planning to do econs and finance or maybe accounts and finance for my undergrad studies. Can tell me what subjects should I take in SAM? Any tips? Cause I could see college like Taylors and INTI offering a few kind of arts package for business studies. And all of subjects are closely matched with perhaps one or two subjects differences.
Besides that, have you guys heard of twinning program? A program where you study a few years in Malaysia and the final year in Aus. Like 1+2 or 2+1? I have been doing some research on those unis website and I realized that not many offer this program. I'm thinking that twinning program would be a good one as studying in Aus for my whole degree course will seriously burn a big hole in my dad's pocket!! So, yea. I need advices and opinions from everyone on this as well.
Sorry for asking so many questions. I did do my research on the internet but I still have doubts. So, this forum would definitely serve as the best place for me to answer the questions that I have.
Anyway, thanks a lot. Appreciate that. =)
It's better to get the information from whatever university that you're interested in. Different universities may have different requirements for same/similar courses so it's hard for us to provide any recommendations on subjects.
And you might find more information regarding universities/academics/administration from education institutions eg AusEd or IDP. Or just email the respective universities instead. Things change over time and some of us here (eg me who did SAM far too long ago) may accidentally provide outdated information.
Twinning programmes are pretty common nowadays as various local institutions would offer such courses. Again, it's best to consult education institutions or your college's placement centres for accurate information, plus the various education fairs that'll pop up during the year. There's usually one around mid year where universities would waive the application fees, so go for it. Furthermore during those fairs the foreign universities would frequently send their representatives to answer any inquiries directly.
Should you decide to take SAM it shouldn't be that much of a problem compared to uni life. But it's best to have a couple of desired courses and destinations in mind before choosing a pre-U.
Cheers.
