Guys, need help to replace new cps style air con vent, i dont know how to DIY, adrien inform need to remove gear cover, radio, 5 button switch first, all of this got screw or just plug and play? never open this cover before

stay away from MY-01, it turns to sotong skin when the road is wet. Baruum>? huh causes my friend Gen2 turn 360 when emergency brake at 170kmh in the dry road condition.....luckily he still alive.

Same problem here... When start engine during cold, the car seems to died after the rpm revving high for a while... Fuel pump change, fuel filter change, spark plug change, plug cable change, engine oil change. The problem still exist... So any recommendation or solution to my problem? Between, last time I heard forumer here talk about MUT tune up? Where to done this? Location? 4g18p engine...

For me it's not normal for engine to die after the rev is lower from the cold start. Since Waja engine is injection, so many factor you have to check. Other than you've mentioned now it's the time to look at electronic part. MUT tune could be good option for you to rectify this problem. At least they could diagnose on the problem of you injection system.

have u cleaned your injectors before? and tune using PDT should be able to solve ur proton, all u need to do is drive in to Proton Service Centre.

Else u can try below step, it might helps....
when ur cold start rpm will shoot high, within 5-10 sec it will start to drop. During that period do not switch on aircon and engage gear, once it drop u can proceed to switch on aircon then engage gear.

Ya. The rpm shoot high and then it will not maintain at the high rpm. Instead of that, it will drop very fast and the car struggling then the engine went off. Proton service centre can solve this problem? I never on aircond or engage gear when I start my car during cold start... Between my car is year 2001 with manual transmission... Thanks for all reply...

If not try to start your engine, then while engine is running disconnect the postive terminal of your battery, for 1 minute. Then reconnect it and let the engine idle for moment. This is the simplest way to reset you ECU reading. I had the same problem like you before when my car battery 'kong' before.

Hello guyz..Just want to inform that my mum's Proton Waja was stolen yesterday arnd 6pm-8pm at Bandar Puteri Puchong..
Colour Galaxy Grey reg no WLN 6776..Stock standard just below the right side mirror got some dent near the fender..If anyone spotted the car can give me a call at 0176972655(alif)

my experience with NCT5; higher FC. do you guys noticed it? hmm.gif

btw, this afternoon, my car was parked under the hot sun light and suddenly the alarm triggered.
turn off by pressing unlock>lock>unlock again. but the sign on door not close properly is there(already checked all the door) .
after driving for about 10 minutes, suddenly the panel light blinking and the car is jerking. even the
RPM is not moving. stop the car at petrol station, turn off everything and the car is back to normal again.
what could possibly the problem? hmm.gif

I remember saw someone posted the simlar problem before, if i remember well the battery/alternator almost KO or the connection of battery are bad. How long is your battery anyway? When your alarm on, did u open and close your boot and bonnet?

it was a maintenance free battery. but i am not sure how long it was already used by the previous owner.
the alarm only triggered when the car is parked under the hot sun(1st time happened on chinese new year, this one is 2nd time). doesn't trigger when i open the boot by using the key. park at shaded area also no problem.
i am a bit worry about the jerking problem, anyway sweat.gif
