QUOTE(sphiroth @ Jan 12 2009, 12:31 PM) If I'm not mistaken, the driver side headlamp are purposedly set lower to avoid glaring of the opposite side car driver. yeah! but mine is too blur. Added on January 12, 2009, 12:34 pm I don't think Waja will look nice with 'floated' hood, unlike Wira. btw, going to the shop to buy a new pair of bulbs later.... any forumer selling the bulbs? btw, i saw a wajalution with scooby like air intake hood. quite nice This post has been edited by yngwie: Jan 12 2009, 12:59 PM |

QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Jan 14 2009, 01:47 PM) removing the thermostat means that your radiator will be continuosly running once you switch on your ignition? the radiator fan? aren't this will shortened the lifespan of the fan itself? After installing the ATF cooler, did u floor it to see is there any different in performance? btw, fan is a lot more cheaper than the engine and the auto tranny am planning to go for hotbits 4-2-1 extractor after cny. hopefully can get more red packet to cover the cost waja 2004 4G18 auto here. Colour: brown Modification: none....but planning to mod here and there soon to catch up with my old wira gsrt Added on January 14, 2009, 2:11 pm QUOTE(culain99 @ Jan 14 2009, 02:08 PM) Guys, it's about time you go for air-cond servicing. I own a Waja 2003 4G18. Lately everytime I switch the air-con on after a few hours not using hte car I get a musty odour from the air-con vent for the first 20 seconds or so. As far as I know - waja does not have the air-con cabin filter... Anyone have any Idea what can cause this.........and how to solve. This post has been edited by yngwie: Jan 14 2009, 02:17 PM |

QUOTE(BouncyBall @ Jan 14 2009, 07:48 PM) wahh, how come both of you so good FC 1?? 1 thing i am using 15" with 195/60/R15 tyre, does it affect the meter reading?? could be the "uncle style driving" yes after 3kRPM will be kinda loud for 4g18 changed my driving style lately. seldom goes beyond 3k rpm. auto transmission doesn't mean to be thrashed anyway. there is a forum member who managed almost 650km on full tank. i am on stock car, btw. QUOTE(jackyleo009 @ Jan 14 2009, 07:56 PM) Anyway to isolate that sound? Sound proof sheet got help in eliminate this kinda of sound? Sound proof for door can isolate wind sound? Coz my car after 90, the wind sound really quite loud... Suggestion? check around in automotive garage sales. there is a member goes by the name manosh85 selling those double layer sound proofing material. he could help you, perhaps. am tempted to have a go at it too but gotta wait till after cny. |

QUOTE(MOMOchacha @ Jan 15 2009, 11:29 AM) wah lao..ur car really sv fuel le.. 500km on full tank is already good enough. my 580km covered is calculated from full tank till the warning light turn on; which is a little under one bar(still good for a few extra km mine 2002 waja 16inch rims plus skirting. now day only can go up to 500km but stil hv left one bar petrol la the another one more still can go up to 80km? Added on January 15, 2009, 11:31 am yaloh..last time i found out that is brake pad la. cos brake pad long time already will getting less and less ma. the brake pad will hv some loose and cre8 the sound the good practice is by refill once there is one bar left. waja fuel pump is kinda sensitive. if we only refill once the fuel light turn on, the chances are; the fuel pump gonna give way sooner btw, did you guys noticed; it takes longer time for the fuel gauge to move from 1/1 to 1/2 ? but once it was in 1/2, it goes down very fast |

QUOTE(hammercar @ Jan 15 2009, 02:52 PM) to save FC in cam-tak-pro not neccessary lite foot driving. you are kinda a right. a friend of mine driving a 2005 camxpro waja auto. driving with light foot return a bad fc.rev it to 2K then maintain will save more than gradually increase the rpm. if you want more power have to rev it to 4K rpm then cruise will save more. the theory is to get the car move, then maintain the momentum. i study the cam-tak-pro rpm range and torque curve, plus some driving monitoring to understand this. dun fire me ah, my theory not einstein theory, just share what i founf out oni, might not be true with your car. anything over 3.5k and the engine shows it's true potential. the fc too; shows better return. perhaps, it was the camxpro's high rev nature / engine design itself. |

@Linkz:
waja tank is approximately 60 liter. full tank should cost around 108 bucks from the recent 1.80 per liter price. my old waja 4g18 auto can cover over 580km on full tank; 85% city and 15% highway driving. calculated from full tank till the fuel light warning turn on. which is still one bar. could be good for another 100km++ but it's a bad practice to fill up only when the tank is empty. i stay away from ron92 though @ibmlenovo; check around at www.mudah.com.my. quite a number of those metal type are up for sale. mostly front one This post has been edited by yngwie: Jan 23 2009, 11:29 AM |
