It's alright. I've forgot to add that I sent the car to a different workshop [was outstation the first time it happened]. The man said it happened because it's not the genuine product..... so thats why i want to change it back to a genuine headlamp.

If you buy directly from spare part shop then the original lamp could be cheaper. Most workshop mark-up the price from spare part shop. That's the trick.. sad.gif

I just bought new sport rim 15" a couple days ago...
my problem is tyre noise become louder than standard rim..

Is it because my new rim a lot lighter (5~6 kg/pcs) compare my old standard waja rim (2002 model)?
Im using same tyre that use at my old standard rim and its still new (2 month old)..

Have you check the offset. Mostly standard rims is 6.5JJ while aftermarket doing 7.0JJ

Anyone repair their headlamp left-right adjuster before ? I'm unable to adjust it as it's over-screwed. Please help.

Anyway , is 7.0J offset rim is okay compare with standard rims 6.5J ? Besides that , is those cheapo rims dependable on ? Finding either 15" ori stock rim or 16".

I've never adjust the headlamp, still stock smile.gif

7.0 JJ is better coz the rim's width is bigger, better on handling, but beware when rain comes. El-cheapo like Lenso or K-Speed should be ok, but the most important find the lightweight rims so not sacrifice the performance.

my rim pic below

user posted image

weight is same with lenso & KII.. (already test lift up.. really light.. actually want to buy lenso.. but the shop take RM200 for my old rim so i go another shop that offer RM350... biggrin.gif )
brand = volkner racing
offset = 6.5JJ
performance achieve = better handling, light steering control, acceleration increase (or just my feeling.. tongue.gif )
cons = tyre noise louder (same tyre use).. sweat.gif

forget to mention.. I already done sound proofing inside cabin (except engine wall area)...
so still sound intrusion not like normal old waja..

I already accumulate 3 problems with the power window:

1) the motor 'kong' - 1 1/2 years after purchase
Synthoms:Windows not moving at all..lucky it happens when the window is closed.
2) power windows button - 3 years after purchase
Synthoms:Windows moving down only. Can't wind up. Click down still can hear motor is working.Very unlcky if this happens.
3) window regulator - 5 years after purchase
Synthoms:Windows moving down smoothly, but winding up stuck. So need to slowly wind up and down abeit again and up, holding the windows in order to full upwind and close the window.

This all happens to the driver side. And i advice you to go directly to parts shop to get the replacement. If not for sure get 'sembelih'.. laugh.gif

it happened to me once or twice before. where the switch gets stuck. when pressing cannot feel the "click" right? i took out the power window buttons panel and looked around... took out the button using a screwdriver and put it back on... and it works again. smile.gif duno why also. i realised the button console heated up pretty much when i could not wind up the window. give it a try before spending smile.gif

I think the sound is caused by the belts? Mine started making that sound recently only.. or perhaps we are talking about different sounds biggrin.gif
