hi guys:)

just bought a 2003 Waja 4g18 AT from my brother..

I have been reading around and was wondering if anyone can help make my mind up tongue.gif

I was thinking of changing the air filter to the open pod apexi dual funnel intake, has anyone done that?

How is the noise level? How much more fuel does it use? Is it worth it?

my car is currently fully stock still lol.

Why would it be bad for a stock exhaust system though?

Thanks for the response zen and termi..

so maybe I should go for the K&N 33-2074 drop in.. is that the right model?

Also, I was thinking of either leather wrapping or buying a better condition steering wheel.. I like the ergonomics of it but the stupid cheap baseball steering lock scratched the steering wheel like crazy..

Any suggestions on where to either leather wrap or change the steering wheel?

thx:)

yea, I kinda like the MME bumper something that is subtle and neat. Probably have a rear bumper with diffuser painted black would be neat too.

and that's after I serviced the car.. it was doing like 180km for RM50 petrol b4 that.

hopefully it improves ler..

If not mistaken i am using a 10w30 semi syn engine oil.. my mechanic said better not use fully syn cos it will leak between the gasket rings / evaporate in our hot temp?

Is that correct?

what offers the best performance from your opinion guys?

my radiator top cracked yesterday on my way to work..

saw steam coming out from the front of my car.. and the temp shoot to the next marker.. im guessing 100+C?

waited a while at the side of the road.. then drove to office and filled the radiator full.. managed to drive to my usual workshop smile.gif lucky me nothing else gone..

total damage : rm 250 = rm175 for radiator top, rm30 for top and bottom rubber seals and rm45 for workmanship..

and the door handle broke when i got the car back! : rclxub.gif

Thats going to cost me rm45 again.. finally, all door handles are broken lol

i was too free and started reading the waja 4g18 manual.. did you realise it recommends that we use 20w50 engine oil and lower viscosity oil would void the warranty?
