Hi all,
I would like to know, how much lighter rims will affect the performance? Will the performance and FC improve if I get 16" rims which are lighter than my current 15" stocks? And what is the damage to my pocket like to get a good light 16"? |

QUOTE(uncle_ben @ Apr 11 2009, 06:59 PM) Hi all, lighter rims means smaller stress to the engine to move ur car.. interm of performance.. at certain point lighter rims do gave few cons.. if its to light. pick-up and moving the car would be better but reaching higher speed would be abit hard.. but from our waja body weight i think it heavy enough..I would like to know, how much lighter rims will affect the performance? FC is not improvement in this aspect.. but more to u wont use more fuel to go faster.. 16" good japan rims sure gonna do alot damage to ur pocket.. 3K++ for those with 4 holes ones.. |

I am interested primarily in 17". Tho tire prices are too crazy to be affordable. Also, performance will suffer. That's why decided to stay with 16". Any good recommendation for 16" or 17"? Price range around 2k w/o tires. Also, anyone here tried port polish? What good it does? And what about de-carb? What good it does? |

Guys, I'm now seriously thinking of lowering my car.. whats the pros and cons of it? Btw, i'm only on 15" rims, it'll look odd right?
