hi all wajarian,

i'm new guy here.

Using a 2003 Waja - auto transmission
stock standard,

but planning to do some modification this weekend,
this weekend planning to do angel eyes and m5 rearlamp, also looking for bodykit/lips around penang/prai there, any suggestion?

also in future planning few modification on perfomance and cosmetics
like extractor - LCP - Muffler - Camshaft - Rims
also looking for way to mod the air filter, should i use open pod or drop in? a forummer told me just use the ori box and change the high flow air filter only, any idea which filter? and price?

do give me suggestion and advise as i'm really new in this ,

Thanks ya guys,

by the way, i call this "Project B Minor" ! hehe

ic, by the way, for air filter, what do you recommend? just change the filter to high flow filter or change to drop in? if drop in, what brand and usually how much it cost,
also, i have a problem with my aircon, if i of the aircon and let the blower run, the smell is terrible, smell like something dead inside the tube, but if i switch on the aircon, no more bad/faul smell
*
K&N, drop in cost me RM240+. Can get from automotive garage subforum. Try to find member name kangyoon (if not mistaken).

The aircond smell is most probably due to the filter. Try to change it.

do u guy think this worth to buy?...rm200 for front and back...

I think its worth because a normal APM lowered spring also will cost you about 180. I'm using the R3 spring right now, but bought from Proton COSE.

Speedworks/hotbits/Powerzone claim to be better than cap ayam extractor, but no dyno comparison has neen made to show how much better they are. For me, spending 400++ for an extractor just isn't worth it (poor maaa laugh.gif ).

if u considering on extractor only.. the percentage of it giving u more power is not promising.. coz in certain cases the extractor/header upgrade will only result in no ++ performance.. it will only feel the same.. and worst the car loses it power on the low end torque.. if there is a difference in performance.. maybe not that much.. you will not satisfied.. hehe..

best way to do it is.. get a perfect setup from the header, to the bullets, piping and to end with the rite muffler (straight flow or s-flow).. also you also need to upgrade ur air intake..

since you already upgrade ur filter to K&N and already replace the CAT..
why not search for header+piping+muffler.. powerzone/speedworks/hotbit if you take each of those full exhaust system will get better result.. by far why dont u consider on R3 also.. hehehehe...
*
From my experience, changing extractor is the one that give most improvement, then bullet. Muffler just for sound (I'm using MT, if AT, need to carefully choose your muffler). Piping I don't know, never done that yet. laugh.gif

nice.. but i read the there ur diffusers are fiber for rm120? coz can get PU for the same price i think..
*
120 plus paint. The boss recommend fiber because it can be touch up if it breaks/crack as it located at the most front/bottom part.

I want to put diffusers, black or follow back my car color?
*
Black. Not the glossy one, just flat black.

ic, cant take out the black mark,

like to ask another thing, is thermal wrap for standard waja 4g18 ok? its said to avoid heat from the exaust/extractor to the engine bay.
will it give any side effect or any comment? thanks
*
It maybe good to insulate the heat from entering the engine bay but remember, the heat is trapped in the extractor and probably cause it to crack. Better do CAI to ensure the engine get cools air.

guys, my headlamp is getting so blur i can barely see the road at night + it's uneven, the left light project a further distance compare to the right side.  sweat.gif
how much does the bulb cost?  any recommended shop around kl area?  hmm.gif

thanks!
*
If I'm not mistaken, the driver side headlamp are purposedly set lower to avoid glaring of the opposite side car driver.

ic, in that case, i think its better to mod your hood to make it higher at one end, so that the heat (waja create lots of heat) to exit better from engine bay. is it ok? i dont know why i'm so concern about heat, expecially to my car and my computer, since i had problem with over heating cars and burn pc (literally burn pc, lol)
*
I don't think Waja will look nice with 'floated' hood, unlike Wira.

NA engine do not need engine oil cooler. Unless turbo charged. Most ppl use the cooler as ATF cooler to protect GB.
*
I read somewhere that CPS engine got engine oil cooler. hmm.gif

i like saw the demo engine is fitted with cooler earlier. If a NA engine equipped with oil cooler then that engine is real hot....

Added on January 12, 2009, 4:55 pm

to be precise, calculate mileage. Anyway, use the proton ATF and get it from PESC. Total cost will not more then RM120.
*
CPS is a 'hot' engine. Literally. laugh.gif

then tell the polis u r the 3rd car....can save saman $ hehehe. The last car insurance pay all
*
If not mistaken, your insurance will only pay the car that you hit (and your car). About the saman, I think as long as the no 1 car doesn't lodge a report, the 3rd car will be the one to get the summon. hmm.gif

Don't expect too much from LCP, whether its performance or FC. Else you'd be dissappointed. icon_rolleyes.gif

u need to reset ur ECU memory after done decat and LCP.

Btw, since so many ppl care about enviroment why not u guys do some gathering and bring along the banner to the bus station and lorry company. Make them to cut down their black smoke, after that all us can use back the cat-con. thumbup.gif
*
And factory too laugh.gif

BTW, I've read somewhere on a study that said cigerrate smoke is more hazardous than exhaust smoke. Will try to find back the source.

press the brake then put back the fuse.

that's why i said the ministry of health need to install cat-con on each smoker mouth.

The biggest problem is the some effect to the secondary smokers.
