Hi all,

I would like to know, how much lighter rims will affect the performance?

Will the performance and FC improve if I get 16" rims which are lighter than my current 15" stocks?

And what is the damage to my pocket like to get a good light 16"?

lighter rims means smaller stress to the engine to move ur car.. interm of performance.. at certain point lighter rims do gave few cons.. if its to light. pick-up and moving the car would be better but reaching higher speed would be abit hard.. but from our waja body weight i think it heavy enough..
FC is not improvement in this aspect.. but more to u wont use more fuel to go faster..
16" good japan rims sure gonna do alot damage to ur pocket.. 3K++ for those with 4 holes ones..  brows.gif  brows.gif

But me not particular in brand/make.
I am interested primarily in 17".
Tho tire prices are too crazy to be affordable. cry.gif
Also, performance will suffer.

That's why decided to stay with 16".
Any good recommendation for 16" or 17"?
Price range around 2k w/o tires.

Also, anyone here tried port polish?
What good it does?
And what about de-carb?
What good it does?

So what do you ppl recommend for springs?
I want something that is alittle lowered, but not to the extend hitting my undercarriage or tyres rubbing on my fender under minimal load (1person sitting in the rear passenger)

Also, please help clarify...
Whether the tyre will hit fender and road kena undercarriage is spring dependent or abs dependent?

many thanks

Dear all,
My waja is giving me problems with electrics.
Everytime I flick the signal light, my dashboard meters start to 'dance'.
It goes on and off, following the timing of the signal's blink.
I have sent this to authorised proton service center.
But those idiots told me they couldn't identify the root cause of the problem.

Can anyone help me?
Like you know the solution to this problem? or
Know any mechanic/electrician that is good at identifying the root cause of this problem?

It would be best if the mechanic is around KL/Selangor or Seremban.

Gosh, true deep problems. Has your car ever involved in accidents before?

Maybe can give a visit to Proton service agents, I know one place at Serdang Raya at road from Astro to Sri Kembangan town.
*
yeah man.
Been in an accident once.
Minor frontal collision.
Did some shit in the car.
Accidentally put into D.
Cipet.
Bang wall.

Nothing serious though.

May I have the address of the place you mentioned?
Cos the place i went also authorised proton service center.
But.. kenot check.
Kanineh!!

But, one strange thing is, I have never experienced that problem when the headlights are on.
Only when its not on.
Strange eh?

borrow a meter for swap testing. If problem still occurs, swap the signal panel. If still occurs, check or sawp your harzard panel.
*
I suspect it could be the signal relay's problem.
As the thingy experience power cut off in sync with the signal.
Damn sien.
Hate this kinda problems.

Did crossed my mind to change another car, but sayang wanna sell my waja.
Been through bitter sweet with it.
And also just finish paying for installment, enjoying the extra cash from installment.
Too comfy to blow another hole in my monthly paycheck!

good day brothas..

I am having problems with my meter panel.
Anyone here selling theirs?
Any idea how much one new set will cost?

My meter panel will go ON/OFF when I put the signal on.
Damn pissin me off.
Checked with few wiremen, they still came to the same conclusion that the meter panel got problem, and couldn't repair.

Any ideas where i can get meter panels ah?
2nd hand or new also no problem.
Preferably a 2nd one lo, new too damn expensive.. was told that it would cost RM600 or so..
