I've been under AKPK before but after a few years my payments defaulted but I eventually paid off the banks on my own.

Now I've managed to get new loans and cc but I know it's going out of control and getting harder for me to pay off due to personal issues and a side business I'm trying to start. I called AKPK and asked if I could join the program again and they said there's no promise that my application will be successful but I can still try.

What do you guys think? Besides AKPK how can I consolidate my debts? Any advice from sifus?

^ I believe with AKPK it'll be one-strike-and-you're-out.

Sorry to be so brash, but that is the reality.

But maybe since this is a new application, they might give you a chance.
After all, you've cleared all you debts earlier on.

For consolidation, AKPK would be the best.

Failure to enrol in their programme, you may have to approach your individual FIs and arrange for either lower monthly payments, and/or longer repayment period. You may even ask if your payment can be deferred [but your interest charges may increase, so it'll be hard to settle your outstanding loans].

Hello, All,
Get to know some CC restructuring company (bank out-source),
they can settle CC debts convert to 60months loan interest start from 6.6% p.a.

Clear C.CRIS / C.TOS and 100% approval. Is this legal? How does it works?

Need all your advise. Tks.

Rgds,,,

my dilemma

Personal Loan outstanding 16000 (530/month for 3 years)
Balance Transfer 8000 oustanding (242/month 3 years)
car 10000 outstanding (600/month)
CC Debt 8500

so monthly payments are quite sakit. do you think banks will help me restructure and consolidate? or take another 10-year personal loan to settle them off ?

3 years pain better than taking another 10 year loan.

I would like to ask the members here about my issue.

The car I am driving now legally is under my sister's name, but she 'kuasa' to me and I paid off the last 3 years of the car loan (car is debt-free).

Recently she has problems with her business and she decided that she will declared bankrupt (coz the repayment of her business loans are around RM20,000/mth!), and she cant afford to service the loan anymore.

So the problem now is that she's telling me to sell the car off now before she will go to the OA. Can I instead transfer the car to my name? Will the OA be able to claw-back on this matter? My thank you for any useful advice...

As far as i know, legally once she is declared a bankrupt, neither you or her can sell the car. So i guess do it before the declaration is made.

There are a few choices before step into AKPK programme.
If u think ur commitment/debt is too high, please go and discuss with bankers.
Some bank have useful products which may actually help u, especially for settle off credit card or personal loan's debt.

I am from bank and just share 1 of my experience here:
Last month I meet someone who income is 4k per month, but credit card outstanding is already up to 40k, some more with a car loan of RM8xx per month.
Does this sounds like only AKPK can help to lower his financial burden?
I success to settle his problem too. biggrin.gif

Zero (bad)debt is the best.
If already some debt on hand, try to clear it off as soon as possible and avoid taking more debt.
If the debt on hand is already a burden for u, find products to save interest/monthly installment (AND MAKE SURE STOP TAKING DEBT!).
If approach a few banks and no one can help, then only consider about AKPK programme(or share ur situation with me, i see if bank can help or not tongue.gif )

AKPK will make ur spouse failed to get loan facilities too. Why consider it when there are other choice out there?
Always put AKPK as the last choice.
Have a nice day smile.gif

banks are just another professional ah long, if they cant get their repayment, they pass this customer acc. to third party collection company which are almost like along with a tie.

Heard from them, seen them.

Pointless to deal with restructure your debts loan especially CC. If you CC outstanding almost 30k, no point..re-structure your debt by monthly repayment, which is ridiculous to pay them if you have 3 banks CC to pay off. Almost you need to pay 18% yearly compounded. Even they have discount, never total their claim debt amount...and you need to pay them.

Best solution, if CC almost 30k..i.e. bankrupt limit.... deal/speak/write with collector/bank,  pay half amount or lesser...lump sum payment. Once paid, ask them issue release letter. But mostly bank have 'bad' info about this customer. So pointless to ask for CC from them again.

Example only
Bank A, 6.5k snowball to almost 30k

Bank B, 1.5 snowball to 15k

Bank C, BT 6.5k snowball to almost 30k.

Total: Actual approx 15k..but over 5-6years...snowball to 75k..

Best solution..deal with bank or bank rep...pay lump sum, around half they claim. In the end, actual owed..15k...pay just 35k, after 5-6years no payments..
*
If we can settle them, as example, 30k CC outstanding, at the monthly installment of 700 per month for 5 years, why not?

be responsible, we make the wrong decision at first, we should bear the consequences.

better dont go to the stage that bank agreed to accept lesser amount from u because that means come to a very bad situation already.

Hi Guys,

I need some advises, i have outstanding amount of 23k with Amex Corporate Card, and found out that AKPK doesn't entertain this kind of card.

I'm planning to enroll in AKPK as i also have personal loans and credit card. This is the only way that i see fit. While i think it should go well for pl and cc, i still need to find a way to solve the Amex problem.

Appreciate if you guys can advise on this. I'm stuck. Thanks a lot in advance!

Personal loan's interest rate also quite high.
Suggest to ask help from your family members or friend that willing to help. Give them 4% of interest rate.
