I also just fully settle MBB. Their respond is fast when I request settlement redemption letter and update to AKPK.

Now pending HSBC to update to AKPK/send me release letter, it took more than 5 working days actually and until I called in to chase the settlement redemption letter.

Hi. I made a payment manually using M2U transfer yesterday. Usually how long will it take for it to be shown in the AKPK customer portal?

Also, does anyone knows where to download the Surat Penangguhan Sementara Bayaran Bulanan (deferment letter)?

Followed their instruction here
https://www.instagram.com/akpkofficial/p/CSEBi3hgOSP/?hl=en

but the letter is not there? It only shows the docs that I uploaded before. For the record, I just started paying my first payment. Maybe it need to wait after they confirm received the payment?

It also says to use Internet Explorer

--------------

Update: Found the answer by calling AKPK

1. The instruction above is for you to download your letter once it is submitted
2. The letter is to be written by you. You can Google for sample (or use ChatGPT)
3. You can apply penangguhan after you receive approval letter from AKPK (usually 7-10 days after first payment)

Congrats to you too! I can't wait till next week to see my CTOS report.

For HSBC, they took 5 working days to zerolizes my loan accounts and another 5 working day withdraw me from AKPK. I emailed them to request release letter, now still waiting the letter.

Hello, have you checked your CCRIS report? I checked mine today and AKPK has already been removed in my April's report.

Better to speak to the debt collection department of your bank loan/credit card and ask for a reschedule of the loan.
Going to AKPK will result in you being "blacklisted" by the banks in the future. Even if you fully repay them.
*
What kind of blacklist? Do read from others reply, they applied cc, car and housing loan after fully settled their AKPK.

1 month after full settlement with maybank, my akpk is cleared from ccris report. Then my banker immediately submitted my mortgage refinance application and was approved within a week at 0.9% bank profit rate (3.9% at current opr).

Already signed my LO 2 days ago.

1 and half month after, just fyi, this month i applied 3 credit cards, two are approved and another 1 pending review

Cimb petronas visa infinite approved limit 8k
Hsbc visa signature approved limit 20k
Ambank enrich visa platinum&visa infinite pending

Anyone wondering if after akpk hard to apply credit card or loan, for me it doesnt seems to be that case. However my DMP was from Maybank CC and i havent try to apply any of their product yet, maybe would be harder to be approved if apply from the bank you once has AKPK DMP with.

Good outcome. Need to tell people more after complete AKPK, in the bank eyes you're clean. No blacklist or what for ex users. As long you can prove your income, you can apply for credit facilities.

There's been irresponsible parties going around telling enrolling to AKPK means you're in some black list and will make your life harder even after settlement. Your story clearly shows this is not the case, and AKPK really gives you a fresh start once you clear with them.

Thanks! I really hope my experience can help ease some worries for others. After fully settling my AKPK program, I had no issue getting financial facilities again. I successfully refinanced my home with a bank profit rate of 3.8%, and I’ve also been approved for 5 credit cards:

Public Bank: RM30,000 limit

AmBank: RM30,000 each on two separate cards (not shared limit)

HSBC: RM18,000

CIMB: RM7,500

So far, no bank has treated me like I’m blacklisted or high-risk. As long as you can show good repayment ability and income stability, you’re considered clean after AKPK. I hope this gives others confidence to reach out to AKPK when facing financial difficulties.

Hi, my AKPK application has just been approved, and I need to make the first installment within 10 days. However, my housing loan has not been disbursed yet, even though it’s already approved and the Sale and Purchase Agreement (SNP) has been signed. Will it cause any issues if I make the first payment before the bank releases the housing loan?"

Hello everyone...

Don't see much sharing about these 'agents', so just to share on my experience.

Was approached by them for DMP, explaining on standard things like consolidating all the personal loans and credit cards into a 10 year repayment with step-up monthly repayment. For example,
1. Year 1 - Year 2 >> RM1000
2. Year 3 - Year 4 >> RM1500
3. Year 5 - Year 6 >> RM2000
4. Year 7 - Year 10 >> RM2500

The 'agents' will be transparent saying you can personally apply without any charges, but it'll be troublesome to submit documents, meeting with the counsellor, attending counselling sessions and even the interest rates will be high. By using their services, for a sum of 8% - 10%, the process will be more straighforward and with high approval rate.

They do seem legit, with physical office and even can meet them there as to provide you with a sense of security (not just scam money, but not getting the DMP).

However, I was lucky to not went through with them. As the process of applying directly is pretty much hassle free. Approval takes about 7 working days, with the same kind of step-up monthly repayment.

For anyone looking to get DMP, please do not listen to these 'agents' as the process of applying directly is just the same as using their services. They don't 'scam' you, but just making a quick buck out of our financial predicament.

Do not hesitate if there's unmanageable debts. Start early, clear the debts and plan your finances accordingly. Good luck all!

What's the interest rate if you guys do it directly online? im being approached with the "agent" also now by claiming if you direct apply through AKPK will charge u up to 10%

if base on 50k calculation
(2% pa) 1 & 2 yr : RM500
(4% pa) 3 & 4 yr : RM600
(5% pa) 5 & 6 yr : RM720
(6% pa) 7 to 10 yr : RM864

The catch is, they will add on another 10% Admin Fee (+6% Merchant Fees from that 10% amount)
