If having heavy credit card debt now and the debt collection agency keep calling and i didn’t pick up their call, can i just straight away look for AKPK instead of negotiate with the agency? Because normally this kind of debt collection agency will ask us pay in full amount/ 75% or they will proceed legal action.

And how fast AKPK will contact me once I did online enquiry?

If yes, do you mind to share some tips and how many % discount? or keywords? so that the officer willing to give some discount.

yah I tried before. The reason I gave was I lost my job. so I applied defer 3 mths payment. need to write letter and sumpah then submit to the portal. The AKPK officer replied quite fast.

Yes ccris will show if we default payment in akpk too.

if let's say u default payment in October, and November u pay 2 mths instalment (Oct and Nov), then the bank will update the ccris record back to 0.
but if November you only pay 1 mth instalment (that's for November mth instalment), then your ccris will show u have "1" until you pay the default mth instalment.

I also just fully settle MBB. Their respond is fast when I request settlement redemption letter and update to AKPK.

Now pending HSBC to update to AKPK/send me release letter, it took more than 5 working days actually and until I called in to chase the settlement redemption letter.

For HSBC, they took 5 working days to zerolizes my loan accounts and another 5 working day withdraw me from AKPK. I emailed them to request release letter, now still waiting the letter.
