What's the interest rate if you guys do it directly online? im being approached with the "agent" also now by claiming if you direct apply through AKPK will charge u up to 10%

if base on 50k calculation
(2% pa) 1 & 2 yr : RM500
(4% pa) 3 & 4 yr : RM600
(5% pa) 5 & 6 yr : RM720
(6% pa) 7 to 10 yr : RM864

The catch is, they will add on another 10% Admin Fee (+6% Merchant Fees from that 10% amount)
*
Akpk is free and easy. always deal direct with Akpk. They don't appoint agent.

Those agents are scamming you.ignore them scumbags.

Thanks for the reply. Can I know what the interest rate is if I deal directly with AKPK? Within 6-10%? won't have that interest stage like 1st few year lower?

Is the application tedious? Heard him say the application will need to take some time, as we'll have an interview, then need to attend classes some more. And of course interest rate is higher.

Sorry for a lot of questions.. I'll need to understand some input 1st only will go approach with APKP staff.

Interest definitely lower than whatever you're having now with the banks. I recall when I help my auntie was around 7% for her credit card and personal loans, stretch over 9 years.

You apply online with AKPK,where you put in your outstanding debts, income and expense commitment data, then set up a 1 on 1 session with the counsellor. No classes required.

The purpose of the counselling is so that the counsellor can find out what's a reasonable monthly repayment plan for you.

Once again, AKPK service is FREE, and AKPK staff will definitely want to find ways to make life easier for you and won't give you a hard time. Ignore those so called 'agents'.

Thanks for your reply. appreciate it.
BTW, i got saja2 go count the total payment, the interest rate offered by the agent seems attractive if compared with 7% even with add on that agent fee.
Anyway, still not sure how true it is......

Over the years AKPK has received numerous reports and feedback from customers of being approached by certain individuals claiming to be representatives or agents of AKPK offering to help them restructure their debts through AKPK’s Debt Management Programme (DMP).
Some of the customers were wise enough to check with AKPK first and avoided being scammed by these agents but many others were not so lucky and have incurred losses.
There are also third parties soliciting money from individuals in debt as payment to restructure or reschedule their debts by referring them to AKPK.
In terms of their modus operandi, usually these agents would make a phone call or send SMS to the customer to offer their services. Individuals who are in some kind of financial mess and in dire need of assistance would be more vulnerable and are more likely to be convinced that the agents can help them. Scammers always prey on people’s feelings and emotions.
The agent will then tell the customer that payment in advance is required first before processing can start. Some may ask for as much as 10% – 20% of the total loan value.
After the payment is made, the agent will then assist the customer to submit a DMP online application to AKPK and book an appointment for counselling. It is usually at the counselling stage that the customer realises he or she has been duped after finding out that AKPK’s services are free and AKPK does not appoint any third party agents.
By then it is too late as they have already parted with their money and in some cases the agent has already disappeared.
They have paid money for a service which they can actually get for free. It’s a double financial blow to someone who is already in a stressful financial situation.

I highly doubt what the agents are saying, especially if they're 'helping' you with AKPK.

Have to remind every few pages here.

AKPK IS FREE
AKPK DOESN'T APPOINT AGENT
AKPK IS ON YOUR SIDE
AKPK IS SUPER EASY TO APPLY BY YOURSELF
ONLY DOWNSIDE IS YOU CAN"T TAKE LOAN WHILE UNDER AKPK (make sense)
AFTER USE AKPK, YOU'RE CLEAN. NO BLACKLIST OR WHATEVER. YOU CAN START TAKING LOAN AND CARDS AGAIN (but please be responsible la.)

Yes. You need to strike the deal with your bank. Of course the bigger amount you settle, the bigger discount they can offered, usually. Some will just offered to waive the interest fee only. Some banks are more "generous".

So I usually settle those that can give me better offer first.

Hey Guys I have some questions to ask since I have over leaps 3 month of credit payment due to financial difficulties. Today I have received a bank lawyer letter and asking me to pay for the 3 month outstanding and legal fees. So should I ignore since I have applied AKPK DMP 1st of July. Btw how long it’s take to process and get approval? I am stress and struggling. What is the % of success? My DB around 75k also recently I have keep getting outsourced bank agent told me they can offer me with 2% IR but I need to pay the 10% amount to let them proceed.

If you cant negotiate anything favorable from bank or debt collectors, tell them you're enrolling under akpk already

They might tell you bull shit story to stop you from going akpk because they will lose their comission.

Only benefit if you take up the banks offer is debt restructure won't hurt your ctos as much as akpk.

If you don't mind sharing, your income around how much? RM75K debt should translate to around RM700 per month repayment over 10 years.
When your finances gets better you can request to increase your repayment and shorten the tenure.

The peace of mind is worth it.

1 more question guy because I googled it and check what happen to me after enroll AKPK DMP. Is that correct once you entered AKPK DMP all you credit facility will be cancelled and credit cards will be cancelled as well? I saw another post that saying after you clear off everything on AKPK DMP you will also never had a chance to apply for any credit facility due to you joined AKPK <-- if this is applied for my whole life then I might migrate to another country after I settle down all the shit.. My another question is how do I know AKPK is settling my debts with the bank is there any place for us to check it out?

Thanks
Hope to get some knowledgeable person to help me out here.

(i think and guess, ...
That cancellation only applicable to those credit lines that are arranged under the DMP.
I think and guess that those existing credit lines that are not under DMP will be not affected.)

( if you browse back few postings back, I think you can read ex DMP candidates did posted about their experiences. (Positives experiences)).
My another question is how do I know AKPK is settling my debts with the bank is there any place for us to check it out?
while waiting for responses from real experienced forummer to reply, maybe it is as per attached image, taken from, ...)

I shared my experience post AKPK on previous page. For your last question, you can check your CCRIS report. Credit facility associate with AKPK will has "Under AKPK DMP" status there.

Thanks for your information bro...I appreciate everyone here is helping out me...but unfortunately after I have entered the AKPK DMP program I hope to get more peace instead of bank keep calling up this and that threatening me with lawyer letter and etc. I also feel down after joining AKPK because I had never went through all this things before in my life and my age is not young too after paying off everything I am nearly 50 year old already and I get nothing in my life. Well life are sucks when you step wrong a single step and your whole life is gone. Since I am single too then my last resort is leaving this country and keep paying at overseas once I manage to get a job.
