I paid full settlement (credit card) to MBB yesterday. Today MBB already issued release letter and my status in AKPK portal already changed to full settlement. Very fast and smooth process.
AKPK, debt issue, anyone got a question to ask them?

QUOTE(littleheart78 @ Mar 14 2025, 04:48 PM) I also just fully settle MBB. Their respond is fast when I request settlement redemption letter and update to AKPK. Congrats! Maybank and akpk is very fast. Akpk updated full settlement status the same day maybank emailed me release letter. Now pending HSBC to update to AKPK/send me release letter, it took more than 5 working days actually and until I called in to chase the settlement redemption letter. Now im tracking my ccris report to see if my akpk status is gone the following month or not. Will update this thread once my march ccris rsport is updated. littleheart78 liked this post

I checked mine today and AKPK has already been removed in my April's report. For HSBC, they took 5 working days to zerolizes my loan accounts and another 5 working day withdraw me from AKPK. 1 month after full settlement with maybank, my akpk is cleared from ccris report. Then my banker immediately submitted my mortgage refinance application and was approved within a week at 0.9% bank profit rate (3.9% at current opr).
Already signed my LO 2 days ago. This post has been edited by xkaix: Apr 18 2025, 10:49 PM |

QUOTE(xkaix @ Apr 7 2025, 06:16 PM) Hello, have you checked your CCRIS report? I checked mine today and AKPK has already been removed in my April's report. 1 and half month after, just fyi, this month i applied 3 credit cards, two are approved and another 1 pending reviewCimb petronas visa infinite approved limit 8k Hsbc visa signature approved limit 20k Ambank enrich visa platinum&visa infinite pending Anyone wondering if after akpk hard to apply credit card or loan, for me it doesnt seems to be that case. However my DMP was from Maybank CC and i havent try to apply any of their product yet, maybe would be harder to be approved if apply from the bank you once has AKPK DMP with. |

QUOTE(Mixxomon @ Jun 16 2025, 03:33 PM) Good outcome. Need to tell people more after complete AKPK, in the bank eyes you're clean. No blacklist or what for ex users. As long you can prove your income, you can apply for credit facilities. Thanks! I really hope my experience can help ease some worries for others. After fully settling my AKPK program, I had no issue getting financial facilities again. I successfully refinanced my home with a bank profit rate of 3.8%, and I’ve also been approved for 5 credit cards:There's been irresponsible parties going around telling enrolling to AKPK means you're in some black list and will make your life harder even after settlement. Your story clearly shows this is not the case, and AKPK really gives you a fresh start once you clear with them. Public Bank: RM30,000 limit AmBank: RM30,000 each on two separate cards (not shared limit) HSBC: RM18,000 CIMB: RM7,500 So far, no bank has treated me like I’m blacklisted or high-risk. As long as you can show good repayment ability and income stability, you’re considered clean after AKPK. I hope this gives others confidence to reach out to AKPK when facing financial difficulties. |

QUOTE(Sylvester_89 @ Jul 9 2025, 10:02 PM) 1 more question guy because I googled it and check what happen to me after enroll AKPK DMP. Is that correct once you entered AKPK DMP all you credit facility will be cancelled and credit cards will be cancelled as well? I saw another post that saying after you clear off everything on AKPK DMP you will also never had a chance to apply for any credit facility due to you joined AKPK <-- if this is applied for my whole life then I might migrate to another country after I settle down all the shit.. My another question is how do I know AKPK is settling my debts with the bank is there any place for us to check it out? I shared my experience post AKPK on previous page. For your last question, you can check your CCRIS report. Credit facility associate with AKPK will has "Under AKPK DMP" status there. Thanks Hope to get some knowledgeable person to help me out here. QUOTE(Sylvester_89 @ Jul 9 2025, 11:35 PM) Thanks for your information bro...I appreciate everyone here is helping out me...but unfortunately after I have entered the AKPK DMP program I hope to get more peace instead of bank keep calling up this and that threatening me with lawyer letter and etc. I also feel down after joining AKPK because I had never went through all this things before in my life and my age is not young too after paying off everything I am nearly 50 year old already and I get nothing in my life. Well life are sucks when you step wrong a single step and your whole life is gone. Since I am single too then my last resort is leaving this country and keep paying at overseas once I manage to get a job. Overseas? You had experience working overseas? Do you already have something lined up, or is it just a plan for now? Sylvester_89 liked this post
