just got my new MBP 13" today ... biggrin.gif its my first time using Mac OS X as well rclxub.gif any websites that i can refer to get guides on installing codecs for videos ? thanks smile.gif

the best all in one videos encoders for quicktime.. install done.. play any videos on quicktime exclude rmvb. RMVB u can use realplayer for mac

hi all,
i'm quite new with apple n macbook. just need help to confirm with my ENTER key in my keyboard. when i press it,it will not enter the folder or file but only will let me rename the file@folder name. is this normal or do i need to change some setting???

its normal. to open a folder juz command+O, or juz [right arrow] if ure in List or Column view. or you know, double click tongue.gif

OSX itself IS an alternative to windows, a much better one.

it IS a 3rd party solution, but after shipping cost become more expensive than the ori one hehe. bought my miniDP-to-HDMI there since dun have in malaysia

u can try mplayer but u need a little tweak sweat.gif

Else, you just stick to real player for mac. No choice

I was looking at some of the adapters on eBay & it costs less than RM50, so eBay it is then.

oh sorry, i didnt realize u meant real as in Real player tongue.gif. i thought u mean a 'real' (as in very good) windows alternative

i juz use realplayer for mac and so far no issues. anyway, i remember a few years ago (when im a pc user) i used quicktime to play rmvb. why now cannot?

really sad, my alu macbook got stolen yesterday....don't ever park your car at shoppin centre with your laptop inside it....lesson learned the hard way
