today release 10.5.6 updates
Folks please update your Mac From Macrumors Apple has released Mac OS X 10.5.6 to customers this afternoon. The 10.5.6 Update is recommended for all users running Mac OS X Leopard and includes general operating system fixes that enhance the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac. Apple details the changes in this support document. Some highlights include: - Improves reliability of Address Book syncing with iPhone and other devices and applications. - Improves the reliability of AirPort connections, including improvements when roaming in large wireless networks with an Intel-based Mac. - Resolves an issue in which pasting text from a Microsoft Office document could insert an image rather than text. - Includes general improvements to gaming performance. - Includes graphics improvements for iChat, Cover Flow, Aperture, and iTunes. - Includes fixes for possible graphics distortion issues with certain ATI graphics cards. - Mail: Includes overall performance and reliability fixes. - MobileMe: Contacts, calendars, and bookmarks on a Mac automatically sync within a minute of the change being made on the computer, another device, or the web at me.com. - Improves reliability and performance for AT&T 3G cards. - Fixes issues that could cause Time Machine to state the backup volume could not be found. - Improves Time Machine reliability with Time Capsule. - Safari: Improves compatibility with web proxy servers. QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jan 1 2009, 06:08 AM) I've been using the MB for a week.. I should say that the thing that I love the most for the moment is the touchpad. I mean the multitouch.. for the 1st time, I would prefer the touchpad rather than an external mouse totally agree!anybody else agree? ------------------- There is this "Send Registration" in my HDD folder. What does it actually do? or what is actually the benefits? Do anyone actually register? [attachmentid=741929] |

QUOTE(rx330 @ Jan 2 2009, 01:01 PM) tak pa la, computer you always wont use for whole lifecan use up to 3 years will do Added on January 3, 2009, 2:17 am QUOTE(OrangeLemon @ Jan 2 2009, 11:48 PM) Hi! Bluray? i bet you wont use it. cuz review back youself, how many original DVD you buy b4? if none, then i hardly see the way to go into bluray worldI'm new here. I've been considering getting a mac for a while now. But something has been bugging me. Its the Performance-to-price ratio. The mac i've been considering is the macbook 13'' unibody(which is 4799) The thing is, on my way to the Apple store, i saw this acer notebook at 4499 but with 90gb more hd space, a 9600m GT, "Blu-Ray"!!!, and a 16'' full hd screen. I intend to make this a desktop replacement so i'm asking whether the macbook would be worth it? Acer quality? crap! I was acer user b4 another thing, i have a fren using almost same acer as you describe, bluray, 16", battery life like crap! 1 hours, that's all! screen viewing angle is shxx! maybe you can go to understand why ACER does make cheap laptop, and what kind of component quality they use. and it's very very very heavy, make you dont even thinking of bring everywhere you rather go for Sony Vaio FW instead http://www.sonystyle.com.my/product/produc...bcategoryid=184 This post has been edited by cRazYee: Jan 3 2009, 02:17 AM |

QUOTE(frozzbyte @ Jan 29 2009, 12:45 PM) @cRazYee yap, it's firmware 1.0Did you apply the trackpad update? That supposed to solve the clicking problem. Try this link http://support.apple.com/downloads/MacBook...ware_Update_1_0 it just happened recently, previously was okay. |
