err u do realize that macworld doesnt necessarily mean a refresh on the mac line up do u? Yes there is a refresh but normally this time around its just the mac pro or the desktops. Theres a timeframe apple adheres too,not every 3 months change new product.

i seriously doubt there is,apple wouldn't just create a new line of products after less then 2 months of launching the current line up it would be a PR nightmare and on top of that those early unibody adapters would be furious,to know their macs are discontinued. Macbook air has already been refreshed String has the new one. Whenever theres a new product dont buy it straightaway,as it is the first version thats what apple has thought us so far bugs also existed in the core duo macbooks and pros,they didnt immediately change to C2D macs did they?

actually i have seen a fair number of people using 17inch MBP normally those heavy on video and graphic editing,mainly for the screen but the new macbookpro last 8 hours and has the option of going 256 SSD,8GB 1066Ghz, and 2.93 GHz c2d,now that'll leave the 2.53 in the dust.

wait a minute there mate,not any PC5300 dimms will work on the macbook the unibody needs ddr3,whilist any 2.5inch sta hdd will work for any apple laptops except for air whcih is using pata HDD or SSD
