i install window xp but seem got problem after i cancel.....and when i on my macbook....it wont auto log in mac os X -.-ll
must keep press option den only one window mac os X den can only enter -.-ll help!!!!!!

Ohh is this really true? The laptop will senses the battery is full and skip charging the batt? Oh this is really a new thing to me.

  Hello, I am a newbie here. I bought a MacBookPro 2.53GHz 15 inch in early December 08. It was a big ticket purchase for me. I have a Dell desktop that runs on Windows xp (3 years old) which is working fine. Initially I had to get used to the new system as Mac Os was new to me. Now after 1 month, I must say, it has been an interesting 1 month for me and it has been great. Now I am able to utilize it well thanks to all your input in this forum besides others that I visit. This forum really rocks!

I have no regrets so far except for a few minor annoyance such as it is not possible to play my PC games in my new rig. (there are loads of RM7.00 games for PC but hardly for Mac os)

I also realized that websites such as AIA is not Mac Os friendly and website of some financial institutions. I am not into "Fusion"or "Parallel" so no Windows in my Mac.

I just installed ClamXav but like most people will say, it is more to "protect" the Windows Os in my other computer rather than for Mac Os.

Mac Os is really cool. Yet to experience and major glitches so far.

Planning to get AppleCare before the 1 year grace period.

how i'm going to find the torrent source for mac. i'm not a serious downloader but if i need something, i will go for torrent. before this, mininova is my favorite. i know there will show some mac files to download at mininova but perhaps it would be easier if we have the website torrent source dedicate for mac. (if it doesn't, maybe mostly mac user download it there)

can Macbook white support up to 4GB memory ram ? (2*2GB)
as i read from apple store they said that the macbook can install maximum 2GB of ram only? (2*1GB)

I have a question regarding VMware Fusion 2.0. If I installed XP via VM and make the necessary adjustment of RAM to be 2GB, that means if I were to run XP then my memory will be splitted to 2GB for OSX and 2GB for XP? Is that right?
What if I do not use VM (only use XP in case I need some software which OSX does not have), will my OSX RAM be 4GB or 2GB?

I update to 10.5.6 and after restart the progress bar is kinda halt on configuring installation. i already wait for more than 30 mins but the bar stayed at approximately 1-2% only.

I really need help as i'm afraid it will crash the OS if i force shutdown.

Anybody here use bluetooth mouse? I'm eyeing Logitech V470. Already tested my friend unit and feel quite okay for me. Any other recommendation before I purchase this one? Please share the price also. Budget is <200.
