Just a 2 cent advise to shop owner....

Please don't stick the price on the front box. it will spoil the packaging.
Just got a hot toys from Amcorp mall.. And when i got home.. i notice the price tag is on my action hero head.. Try to remove the tag... but the glue stain still there....

^ try using cellophane tapes to remove the stain carefully, if the box is a little glossy type.

i normally use masking tape to remove the sticky residue

just to share some of my experiences about few shops i deal with since i start collecting figures about a month ago.

1. Time Machine BTS

brought my first figure from them a GSC saber lily Golden Caliburn for 600 bucks, well i guess its quite overprice for me but i dont mind paying more for such limited item and the aunty is a very good sales person who keep pushing me to buy more stuff well other then that i found out their price are quite high compare to other store.

2. Dreamtoyz

brought few figures from them nice services and the price is quite reasonable.

3. xl-shop at empire

their customer services so so only

4. xl-shop at BTS

have better customer services compare to empire branch as the sales person willing to help me to put in the pre-order for DM animation ver although the pre-order date is already passed.

5. Animetsu

i brought most of my figure from them and their price is cheaper compare to other local store. just they slow in replying my enquires and also updating my account status.

6. Game Arena BTS

haven't brought anything from them yet but i did pre-order some figures from them and they are friendly people to talk with.

The boys at XL Shop Empire and Midvalley...the warm up slowly, I've known them for years, and they are very friendyl (to me anyways)

i just went there yesterday, brought a dead master nendriod from there. As previous post said they just gather infront of the pc enjoying themselves but when i took the DM nendroid from the shelf one of them just came to me and intro more stuff to me. yeah i totally agree with you they do warm up slowly haha

just to share a bit with everyone..

my friend said he was asked to leave the store ultimate toys in amcorp mall once becoz it was crowded on day...

so this afternoon as my friend and another friend were walking with me hunting for toys at amcorp..

both of them entered the store as i only survey the toys from outside...(it was again crowded, being a sunday and it is anyway a small shop)

and truly enough they were approached by the owner asking whether they are looking for anything and when they said they are looking around first, they were asked to get out of the store so that he (the owner) could go out to take some things..however, once they stepped out of the store, he locked the door, leaving mostly the customers who were interested or maybe collecting their hot toys...

i leave the assessment to u guys...

Used to buy stuff from them when they first opened. Very nice CS, but slowly went down hill...have since stopped going there.

WHY IS THE UNCLE IN FANTASY TOYS LOWYAT SELLING GUNDAM MARKERS RM13 EACH??!! I BUY FROM GAMERS ARENA OR TIME MACHINE RM10 ONLY.
THEN I SAY TO HIM WHY MARK UP PRICE SINCE THERE ARE NO TAX FOR THOSE ITEMS WHAT. HE LOOK AT ME AND SAY "SUKA HATI LA NAK LETAK HARGA BRAPA, TAK MAU BELI SUDAH"
I TURN AROUND AND SAID F**K YOU AND YOUR SHOP AND THEN LEAVE. FYI....MOST GUNDAM IN HIS SHOP RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICE TOO.

I've only ordered twice online, once from TFM and 3 times (magazines & 2 pos currently) from Animetsu.

TFM was because of the thing got stuck at custom, once it was released they got back to me fast enough, efficient + friendly + nice packaging = good. Plus their stocks seem to arrive faster rather than Animetsu's "

I PO-ed my angel beats set 01 from them since June/July and it was released in October. I just got the confirmation for total charges from them by email on the 17th of JANUARY 2011 -_______-"

kk maybe a few of you guys will say that I am impatient I cannot wait I cannot w/e other stuff but srsly the delay a bit ..? wow if 1 figure can be delayed by 4 months i wonder when will the DM nendo arrive @ their shop trolololol

last time he sell the MG Red Frame + FREE clear parts kit for RM220!!?? Now is reduced to RM189. WTF.....i tot those clear parts were FREE!! Other shop sell MG Red Frame without the clear parts kit RM179-RM185 only. GREEDY A-HOLE.

sometimes he has crazy markdowns for hot items - if your timing is right you can get real bargains from him - his 'loss leader' marketing strategy a bit terlampau one

Some of the items he selling is very expensive some is cheaper just do survey. I bought my MG Wing Gundam RM129 other shop selling it at RM139-RM145

yupe i have seen some of his stuff pricing ok2 la...
e.g. sh figuarts goku at rm90..

however, seems that his shop has a lot of bootleg pvc n nendoroid...be careful when buying..

Ultimate Toys - Crap..the sales person pandang aku mcm ler aku takde duit.

Uncle Low Yat - Aku beli Kratos dlm RM75 jek..kedai lain mark up smp RM100+. Some are cheap some are overprice.

Stop being so naive

If a certain shop lower their price from the normal retail, then definitely those shop that don't lower their price look expensive la.

Even so, paying extra RM 10.00 - RM 20.00 so what. Big deal?

Buy a Honda also pay almost triple the normal price
Buy a Proton also pay extra compare with Saudi Arabia

Already pay so much extra for a car, so what so big deal over RM 20.00 - moreover over a toy ?

i think it's not fair u say like that la... i mean in toys u have an option to buy at lower price right? by being smart n looking around... however ur example of a car prices...do u have a choice here? no right? so i think it's not wrong for buyer to go for lower prices for toys..

rm10-20 difference when u buy say 10 pieces of toys with difference of that much wouldn't u have save up to rm100-rm200?

of cause u might use up ur time and money to look for that bargain anyway...lol...
