in my opinion go do survey before buy ur collection such as gundam and FF & kingdom hearts action figures at Times Square, Lowyat area then jz make ur decision to purchase

In my experience, some of the shop sell some thing is cheaper and some thing is higher

But for me Time Machine at times square always can give me find the thing i want in the cheaper price. Make sure u dont care that AUNT say wat,

I jz bought my King Mickey yesterday which is very cheap

But i found out that the spare hand (left) got 1 deep f**k*ng hole there so i call the shop and the said bring it back by next week or next 2 week.

TM customer service always best compare to others

it looks like my example is being turn into complaints by you.. lol :-)

Put it this way, a certain toys is being retail by a local distributor at a recommended price RM 100.00 . Shop-A sell it at RM 100.00 . Shop-B sell it at RM 85.00 . So Shop-A sell at scalp price?

I found it a bit unfair that some complaint  about a mere RM 10.00 - RM 20.00 as it is so obvious that Shop-B is doing an offer but Shop-A is not and being branded as irresponsible shop. Scalp price should be at least double the price or even more .

and sorry, i am not in the toys business. but i do retailing on clothing, watches, artificial jewelry and shoe. On toys, never. As the margin for toys is too small . Collecting is much more fun than selling toys.

lol. offend not taken :-)

Hi Bro,

I think you are rich people son. So you will say like that. For us we are not rich. We are Toy Collector. RM10-RM20 is quite a big amount for us.

Why must buy from SHOP A that selling RM100.? Why not buy from SHOP B that selling RM85? If me I will go to SHOP B since the shop is 2 floor down compare to SHOP A. Just walk down 2 floor i can use RM15 to eat KFC. I believe all TOY collectors who not from a RICH family will do as what I do. SMART consumers......

I will buy from SHOP A if SHOP B is out of stock. This is because i do not want to wait for restock. Why? This is because i want to save my transportation expenses and time to travel to shopping center again. Sorry to you SNAKEES if I too straight here.

Actually, the comments by snakees nothing to do with being rich people son la.

He just state if you don't like that particular shop price, don't buy there la. Ranting about a few ringgit difference is waste of time la.

A good example would be Jusco, Parkson, Isetan etc...They sell Gundam at Litt Tak RRP, so they are scalper? lol. They sell at least at RM4.50 to 100 Yen from my last calculation....

I'm sure most of us here do as you do, we buy at higher price sometimes because we don't want waste time going back and forth the shop again.

Anyway, just my 2 sen only, no offense ya.

You are right brother.... Jusco is very expensive. My style is, if i today buy i will walk 3 Shop. Example, Times Square toy shop Time Machines, and another two shop at Level 5. Which one is cheaper i will buy for it....

I think forums like these are good to improve the efficiency of the market and allowing buyers all around to make an informed decision. whether 20 bucks is alot or not, is not the point... point is, in the market place, we need to empower the buyer to ensure we all can make an informed decision and be happy with our respective decisions. Rather than regret, aiyah... 2 floors down got cheaper... then u will feel cheated and stupid... Why Pay More? if you can avoid it that is...

end of the day... power to the consumer... not the retailers. Economy these days not doing so well, therefore, it should be a buyer's market smile.gif

you are right bro
