i belum search from this threat about My laptop...My laptop model is CQ45 127tx running in vista...now i want to downgrade to XP..so who know where can i get the XP driver for this model...can share it with me?

Damn the disk shrinking only works if you wanna make a new partition. You can't add the access space of a partition after shrinking onto another partition.

Added on October 17, 2008, 8:18 amBro the price if you buy online now is RM2509 for CQ20-125TU and RM2809 for CQ20-126TU. The only difference between both is 125TU is FreeDOS but 126TU comes with Vista Home Premium. But my advice is if you're interested just get the CQ20-125TU and buy the Vista Home Premium separately as you can get it for a lot less than RM300 well assuming if you want Vista Home Premium that is. If you can find anywhere offering less than the price I mentioned earlier is considered cheap already I guess because most of the places I see mark up the 125TU price to 2599 and if you bargain they will still minus back to 2509 only.

I don't have the time to write a review but I can give you a brief feedback. I've been using the CQ20-125TU for quite some time. 3 weeks to maybe a month or so and all I can say is I'm absolutely happy with my purchase till now. Its so light its just like carrying a textbook in a backpack. Performance wise I only use my lappie for my uni work and in that respect it serves me beautifully. As for gaming I'm not sure about how this lappie performs as I have a desktop to game on however I remain unconvinced given its weak graphics card.

The biggest complaint people can have about this lappie is its 4 cell battery hence the short battery life. Just to let you know I get around 2 1/2 hours with lower brightness settings connected to a wireless connection and my external hard disk while doing some matlab/web programming together with some web surfing which in my opinion is already very good given it only has a 4 cell battery.

Note: At the moment its not possible to upgrade the battery, as from what I gather from the HP support forums OEM batteries are not ready yet for this model.

Wimax module is optional in Centrino2...

Think there's no Wimax for Centrino2 yet... heard there's a bug with the wimax chip, so we'll only get it in Centrino2 later

i just got myself a CQ20 125TU, install Vista on it and i still got 1 unknown device.

anyone know what device is it?

I am proud user of CQ45-129TX. No complaint except kinda hot at left palm rest area.

Make sure you install 4gb ram to fully utilize the horse power. hehe

Have you installed all drivers mentioned in 1st post of this thread?

HPQ0004 - That would be the HP hard drive sensor (accelerometer).
