the star bokeh he is talking i think tis the DIY thingey... no la dun think of those first...those are when you can master the basics eg aperture shutterspeed etcetc... a normal Hoya UV filter should do the job to project your lens...

no la just buy a filter from hoya only snap on then shoot low shutter speed then u get the star effect

user posted image

did this with sigma 24-70 f2.8 f/22 shutter 30 sec without the star filter, but actually if u have it better la thumbup.gif

dear users..i was wondering is the D40 really that good like ken rockwell said? the 6MP doesn't bother me.. but is the light sensitivity of the D40 and flash sync speed 1/500 that good that makes it a better buy than D40x and D60?

I feel D80 is a better buy now consider the lens for D40/x/D60 is limited and expensive.

I'm considering changing my D40 to D80 also. I feel D80 is a better buy than the D40 and D60 now at this price.

When we deal tonight or tomorrow I *try* to show you how to take some good night shots... hope they will turn out well.

Maybe can try ISO 3200 night scene shots too... hahaha.

I like what your PP is doing to the shots Amir!
