Nikon seems to be quite slow in coming out with AF-S primes. I'm guessing it is b'cos or pricing.
Anyway..... with Canon having 2 low end models (1000D + 450D) and Nikon just launching a D90 an upgraded D60 might be on its way soon (hopefully with AF-motor built in). |

Good news !! Tamron is upgrading the SP90 macro lens with built in motor.

Should read "not-so-costly" macro lens with built-in motor.

On my side dealers telling me RM 4500 for D90 kit. They are expecting the first units to come in month end.

I'm considering changing my D40 to D80 also. I feel D80 is a better buy than the D40 and D60 now at this price.

Haha... would like to see that video too. Wanted to test one that day... local store here was out of stock.
 I guess I should also bring my 50mm f1.8 with me to test. |

What's the selling price for a D40 nowadays ? I haven't seen one in months.
