darthbaboon, read your blog. You got your Lowpro 350 for only RM 260 ?
Very cheap and mind to share where you get it ? Is it widely available through out Thailand ?
*
Thanks for popping by mate... and yes I got it from MBK Bangkok in a shop called PhotoThailand... there's a very good selection of Lowepro bags there and they've got many many Fastpack 350s in stock. They had a Computrekker Plus AW for THB 4800 too but I didn't think much of that bag... too big like a turtle shell.

That's the cheapest I've found so far... in Panthip Plaza it's a little more expensive than the MBK... that's what I recommend for now but I haven't really been doing a lot of searching.

*
Won't have cons wan la... it's not like a completely new technology or software that has bugs. Unless the video mode really have problem. Otherwise everything else is a watered down D300. smile.gif

don't worry! i never consider jumping from sampan to ship yet.
I have to say honestly,I don't felt anything special in d80 or d90 compare to our D40,if i would jump,there will be d300 or d700  tongue.gif

Hello guys, I've been looking at a D60 for quite sometime now. I've been reading up a lot too. As I've never used a DSLR, but I'm really interested to take up and learn photography as a hobby. And I've made up my mind to get a D60 as a start.

Any recommendation for a place to get a brand new 1, anyone knows a shop with a knowledgeable and friendly enough to let me know every pros and cons hands on? I know, I've also compared and read reviews at dpreview.

Please do let me know the place that gives the best offer, sharing knowledge, etc via pm or this thread.

Thanks!
*
Where are you located? If you're in the Klang Valley, I heard that YL Camera and J-One gets good votes from all the peeps. For their addresses, just check out Page 1 in the D300 thread, or do a random search... they have been mentioned everywhere.

For sharing knowledge, anyone in this thread or forums should be able to help you out... or at least, we pretend to be knowledgable. tongue.gif

Search somewhere in the site I'm pretty certain that they had the 50mm f1.4 AF-S rumored to be about USD 700.
