man, u guys are wayy too sensitive. she was just giving a statement on her opinion and also what she heard from hun. no need to start ganging up on her like that.

if it was some newbie that ask that, im sure we'd reply it nicely that the smoothie has been good so far to our hamsters. then again, most of us only hv syrians and WWs, not RCs.

simple statement become such a controversy shakehead.gif

You got the point rclxm9.gif
Instead of discussing and arguing on the diabetes issue and the smoothie, you guys seems to moved ur focus onto jayniel and start pointing every damn thing at her, and discussed on her intention of starting this discussion.

To me, i prefer the natural bath sand without any smell. Maybe the sand smell gud to human but not to the small one, and i think it'll confuse their sense of smelling also.

do u feed them with smoothie?

well, crazymouse told me that RCs cannot eat the smoothie.. which i agree as well.. so if anyone got RC, cannot give smoothie lor (sorry for being so direct)
*
is this asking a question? asking an opinion? and i am really curious what they are GUESSING and AGREE about? do they have the full list of ingredients? do they have the ratio of the fresh? do smoothie cos their RC problem? and this is a direct statement.

as i said ASK is acceptable, and ALWAYS WELCOME. but the problem is, no one see the intention of ASK. her statement is misleading n accusing. if there is a proof, i don't mind she post up with font size of 100 say that smoothie will kill RC hamster. maybe u hv to read all the post n see what chipmon post. which we bring up the prove from experiance, reserch n study. while she bring up her statement with.... nothing?? fair??

and i guess she is old enough to know how to wirte a question to ASK.

anyway. i will stop talking or replying about this. i will just take it as she dont know how to ask. and its a misunderstanding. no one is against her or sensitive anyway and its nothing do with newbie or old mate, its just about we don't simply open our mouth to give unprove statement.. everyone is merely asking her to prove for her statement.

Iced i don't hv any hard feeling to u. just that i hope u make the situation clear. NO ONE IS FLAMING HER,and NO ONE IS SENSITIVE and as an adult, she has to be responsible on the statement she make.

as someone say canot read my reply in post #485, i had copy it to #488, do read if u canot see it b4.

I use the Delikate Snow Sandy Bath......when I 1st use it, I notice the sand is quite wet tho, anyone using it can verify? Is it normal?
Another thing, when my RC go roll insite the sand bath, the sand seems sticking on their fur.

I think that Delikate sand bath is too fine to use. I prefer the charlie chinchillas bathing sand better.

hey guys.. 1st of all, we are nt picking on her, any1 who make this kinda statement will get some reply/opinion from others as they made statement without prove.. and 1 more thing, SMOOTHIE is a GREAT product, nothing bad to complain about, u tried it before and u wont stop using it... so, i do not think that any1 has any right to critize such a great product.. think bout it fren, nezu can earn from its pricing? i dont think so, even petrol price got higher, fruits veges prices got higher also nezu didnt rise 1 cent of her smoothie also.. if u look at this matter the other way, u should think that we have our rights to comment bout her statement , if she can just post some statement to giv others bad names, we have the rights to help the innocent side too.. and she might not have the intention of spoiling nezu's name but she did made a statement on this forum..

some hamster love egg, some don't. maybe u try chinese tou fu. which so far all my hamster love it. which is a good source of protein.

@nezu
But nowadays, chinese tofu that sell around my area comes in those plastic sealed packing, and no more in the old look. Can still be fed to my hammies? And also, my hamster like your smoothies very well... they start showing me tricks or climb up and down when i open up the container near their cage.

Anyone got experience how to intro a robo from a different bloodline and batch?... My existing pair of robos will get too excited and start chasing the new robo when i put her into the cage. Then the new robo will start screaming and hide at the corner.

Methods that i have tried:
* A tank separated half, 1(new):2(old). I poked few holes on the splitter itself.
Result: New robo become paranoid and start screaming if she smell another robo on the other side of the splitter.

* Try to calm down the new robo for few days in a different cage, but put next to the old cage. The new cage, i've change all the bedding and display, juz that i din wash it with vinegar+water as some LYNer suggested.
Result: Still panic when i put her in a container with holes, and put the container into the old cage with 2 robos.

Then use the switch methods cage. Basically let each robo stay in their cage for a week. Then switch the robos to each other's tanks. Switch it for 2 weeks and try another re-intro.

Yes, you can use the pre-pack white tofu (in square white box with transparent seal on top). They'll like it. I lazy to buy the usual brand and get from organic shop, the price is RM0.99 and RM2.60. cry.gif They finish one whole box of tofu from the organic shop within a week. rclxub.gif Even I gave them as snack. doh.gif

I remember I read somewhere about putting some perfume on the hamster's body and put both hamsters together, this is to make them to have the same scent, wonder is this method works? I never see or try before as I'm having Syrians and I do not need to intro them. unsure.gif
