^ that's very informative.. it's good to have detailed explanation rather than just saying BALANCED diet.. if the smoothie has already been tested, i guess it has cleared all doubts.. ps/ should said so from the beginning..

QUOTE(jayniel @ Aug 26 2008, 10:07 PM)
do u feed them with smoothie?

well, crazymouse told me that RCs cannot eat the smoothie.. which i agree as well.. so if anyone got RC, cannot give smoothie lor (sorry for being so direct)

Any prove from ur statement?

welcome to this thread smile.gif
gah! ur WW is so adorable!!! wub.gif

QUOTE(nezumitaro @ Aug 27 2008, 12:11 AM)
i think i do it here. so newbie can see also.

this diet is feeding on all hamster for yrs.  the only difference is i blended it n easy for everyone to keep the blended food rather keeping the whole veges n fruits. this is explain n into in my wts about how Nutri-smoothie come.  and there is no problem with the ww rc n robos eating this diet set for yrs.

it is same on feeding fresh. why most of the info say canot feed too much fresh, it will cos diarrhea? cos there is no one leading to feed the BALANCED fresh diet.  that is why diarrhea can happen.  ppl who feed smoothie to their hamster can prove on this. if their hamster diarrhea?

if u ONLY feeding fruits to RC of cos they get sick, even human take too much appless can get sick.  every diet in about BALANCED, that is why i always CAP LOCK the word BALANCED.
*
Agreed with ur statement laugh.gif

QUOTE(jayniel @ Aug 27 2008, 12:41 AM)
well of cos i didnt simply say.. i only raise the matter now after so long cos i dont wanna simply assume.. it has always been advised not to feed RCs with fruits becos of the sugar content.. very few ppl have RCs.. so that's y no complaint so far?

i'm not against anyone or anything here.. there's no benefit for me doing so.. i just wanna raise some concern.. so that all those with RCs can observe their hammies & give proper feedback.. if really no negative effect on their health, then wouldnt it be a new discovery?

i'm not giving a one-off statement & everyone should follow what i say.. but i guess this matter should be discussed in the proper thread & that's y i posted here for everybody to comment & understand my concern..

regarding diarrhea, there are sites that suggest that average amount of fresh will do no harm.. but about feeding fresh to RCs, i've never seen any specific positive comments regarding the matter..

also, someone also addressed the matter to me.. which is why i wanted to ask publicly..
*
mind posting the sites here?

QUOTE(blurjoey @ Aug 27 2008, 12:52 AM)
From your reply you don't seem like asking publicly their opinions here. All you just said is "Crazymouse say cannot give smoothie so cannot give to RC smoothie lor" without asking for their opinions wor...

~This looks like its directed to the smoothie to me. Anyone else?
*
100% agreed with u blurjoey.
@jayniel from what i can see, this is not a statement with prove.
are you jealous with nezumitaro's product or what?
why not give us some PROVE instead of statementt, that any of ur RC or anyone RCs here in this thread or any LYN members or non-LYN members that are dead or diarrhea or obesity or whatever they call it.
huh?

QUOTE(jayniel @ Aug 27 2008, 01:11 AM)
let's wait for Nezu's answer.. it must have been tested on RCs for anyone to be SURE that the smoothie wont trigger diabetes in RCs..

btw, if u all did some research, not all RCs have diabetes in their line.. it's a hereditary disease.. therefore tests must be done in different lines of RCs.. this thing, it's all up to RCs owners to voice up.. non-RC owners, unless got a strong point to prove, may refrain from shooting at my way of approach..

@sangles: that's my point.. how if those who give smoothie to RCs happen to have diabetic RCs? they wouldnt have realised it's from the smoothie cos everyone is complimenting it.. the concern is now whether the smoothie will trigger (not cause, but trigger) diabetes in RCs..

ps/ i'm not sensitive la.. even non-sensitive ppl also can see that..
*
lor? i tot uve seen any RC that are dead or got diarrhea or obesity with ur own eyes before posting about the product u mention in ur statement before this. why should wait for her answer?
if u dont have any prove, than why simply blames smoothie are the caused of RC gonna have diabetic?

p/s:who that so non-sensitive ppl? anyone?

i guess outsiders that dont know what really happen should refrain from making personal attacks.. u had no idea y i raise this topic.. but i believed this will make a clear cut statement, so might as well we resolve here.. either can feed or cannot feed..

btw, it wasnt me who said cannot feed the smoothie.. so by quoting the person's statements, how come i kena.. why should i be jealous? how did it negatively affect me? how come so many ppl interpret it differently.. sigh, it's ur own mentality..

it's not wrong to question anyone's products.. if the person has faith in it, he/she can reply me directly & tell me i'm wrong & provide details.. unfortunately there are also other ppl who dont know anyth & straight away rush to defend her..

ps/ that non-sensitive ppl is me lar.. sweat.gif

do read carefuly thank you.

Jayniel, I do not posses the linguistic skills that you do and therefore I was not able to articulate myself in the manner that Chipmon has. It was for this very reason that I requested for Chipmon to explain in detail with regards to the diet.

I am very well aware of what components go into a proper hammie's diet as I have done research in detail. I used the one BALANCED because that is exactly what it is. It is a BALANCED diet. By the way, there is no necessity to be sarcastic here.

On another note, if you had doubts about the smoothie, you could have just PMed me instead of asking leading questions here about who has RCs and immediately saying that the person should not feed the smoothie - on an open forum. This just seems vindictive.

Is there a reason why you are so against the smoothie? I believe you took a FREE sample when I was giving out samples but yet as far as I know, you have not purchased any. Correct me if I am wrong though. Was the smoothie not beneficial to your hammies?

I do not understand why the sudden earlier declaration: so if anyone got RC, cannot give smoothie lor.

For you to make direct accusations like that must mean that you have PROOF that smoothies are very bad for RCs. In the same way, you have asked me for proof, I too would like to ask you what proof you have to make derogatory remarks about the smoothie.

Perhaps, I have misunderstood your intentions or perhaps you too are not able to communicate in a proper manner.

thank you.

Yes, I totally agree it is not wrong to question anyone's products but you did not question. You made a direct statement shocking.gif : if anyone got RC, cannot give smoothie lor
To me, this does not sound like questioning a product. Perhaps, that is why some people made personal attacks and interpreted exactly what you wrote?
If your real intention is to question (perhaps you accused unintentionally), then it may be best that you edit your post in order for people not to be misled and also so that you are not accused of making false statements

Not everybody is willing to spend for their pets la. It's affordable but doesn't mean that everyone will afford it mah. Some are just too stingy to spend for it and say their hamster do not like it or eat it or maybe can't get to the place to buy it where they are staying in KL or Selangor area. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

p/s: I think all newbies should be doing own study and research rather by just reading at one post or one page from this forum la. smile.gif

Tried before Alex scented sand bath. It's really not much different than the normal non-scented kind. I think the scent is to make the hamster smell nicer to us humans. Don't think the hamster can tell which scent they like.
