I looked through KDK range of fans at their website. I noticed that between normal type and the remote type, the normal type have higher RPM than the 4 blades remote control type. Is this indication of how strong the air current will be?

Can anybody advise?

Don't look at the rpm. Look at the airflow/air delivery and motor watt. Bigger number m3/min and lesser watt is the most efficiency fan. You want a strong air but use lesser power to run.

So far I see haiku fan is the most efficiency. But price not efficiency.

All parts are from same line lah, maybe the casing are not. Is not efficient to have so many production line for motor, bracket, electrical component right? Unless they produce millions per line.

What difference will be color, marketing, and after sales service.

For those remote controlled fans, how do we check whether the fan can still function when the remote is broken or malfunctioned?

Can we seek the advice for the shop? or does the fan manual mentions anything on this?

Thank you.

Get one unit of KDK (K14X8-GY) from Houses Lignthing to try up how it look like especially the level of high, before getting another 3 more set.
Last minute change from Panasonic (F-M14C8WT) to KDK (K14X8-GY) as the colour on the KDK Fan are much better than Panasonic... icon_rolleyes.gif

Hope the high with acceptable before it cut my finger if destress time doh.gif

Should be a tight fit but I think possible. Go alone use up the passenger space.
I fit 6 fan to my City with the passenger seat taken up but then City can fold down the back seat.

bro..
depends on whether the remote control works basis on infrared or RF.. If it is RF, it wil have pro and cons.. Pro : u can share the remote of course.. Cons : You press speed 3 on one fan, the other nearby (even in a different room, same floor) one will react the same..

Alpha fan remote is using RF..and that's the problem I had.. I have to manually adjust the pin at the fan and the remote for each of them to differenciate their frequencies..

Oh no.. probably can't fit in Myvi cause it's 2 people sitting inside. I'll take 2 times then.

Recently, my contractor installed my purchased fan

a) panasonic 4blade = wobble quite a lot
b) kdk manual regulator 60" = still wobbles, only 2 looks 'acceptable' to me
c) panasonic manual regulator 42" = looks ok, i like its cuteness
