Guys,
I need advise. I am moving to a single storey with low ceiling (normal ceiling). The rooms dont have existing hook. A nearby electrical shop told me that to fix the hook first require to add additional wood plank because the existing one not strong enough. This is what the lady said.
Can anybody advise? Thanks.

Owh ok so I get it. The additional wood plank is a must then. Thanks. The standard planks which they use to attach the ceiling is not strong enough?

Yes, I will need to see this. Guessing from it, the truss where the lighting is fixed on should normally be bigger than the rest.

I looked through KDK range of fans at their website. I noticed that between normal type and the remote type, the normal type have higher RPM than the 4 blades remote control type. Is this indication of how strong the air current will be?
Can anybody advise?

QUOTE(ozak @ Dec 13 2011, 09:08 AM) Don't look at the rpm. Look at the airflow/air delivery and motor watt. Bigger number m3/min and lesser watt is the most efficiency fan. You want a strong air but use lesser power to run. So far I see haiku fan is the most efficiency. But price not efficiency. Capacity (CFM) indicates the same thing right?
