What's the best ceiling fan model for high ceiling. My new house got really high ceiling one especially the 2nd floor. Can suggest one or two suitable model? Don't want unstable, wobbly or noisy ones if got energy savings even better. smile.gif

Cheers!

How good is this Haiku fan? No sound? High air flow? Price?
Ozak
The fan is good, minimal sound, with decent airflow. Best part of it, the blades are pre-balanced in the factory, and the technician just need to match the colour codes on the blades for assembly. That is why no wobbling after installation. However, it took them 3 weeks to arrange installation, thus if you want to have it during your reno, probably it may be best to plan early.
Price is the main killer.... it is more than double the price of the K15Y6. sad.gif

oh no! i think i have to change my mind to buy Deka fans. thanks for sharing this. i think KDK will be the best and so far no complaint from this thread

Added on January 6, 2012, 7:39 pmFinally, after reading some reviews about ceiling fans here in lowyat, i bought 2 units of K14Y9-GY and K14X8-GY at the price of RM270 and RM260. The shop at U&Me Enterprise, Bandar Baru Ampang. Cant complaint much with the bargain coz i'm staying in ampang and dont want any hassle to drive around Puchong since i'm not familiar with Puchong area. Had a good customer service with the shop too thumbup.gif

Oh i bought Deka Baby 6 at RM180 for my dry kitchen since i dont have any budget for KDK Baby Fan icon_rolleyes.gif cry.gif

i trust no other brands but KDK. Been using it for more than 3 decades and it never fails.

Won't take no risk. Although other brand's design is nicer.

no one here... hehe..thanks sic66. I been using KDK since my kids time. but this time the living room need a new ceiling fan. V-touch got more complain than i can think of. so, i go for alpha and see how. I survey a taiwan brand also. demo fan show ok. but not sure will get which one. thats why i ask around first.

Look like Panasonic Nami, that I have. But without Temp sensor.

For mine, installing is pain in the azz. All wobble got to call Panasonic came few time, replace few set and finally fix, it still wobble a bit If i switch to highest speed.
