Just back from ECO Home Show at Sunway.
DEKA fan price as state at the price tag Q8 : RM 399 MXL : RM 389 Q7 : RM 349 X1 : RM 399 MX3 : 289 X6 : RM 159 M5 : RM 199 Price can further discount base on volume... I asked for 4 x Q8 / 4 x Q7, been quoted RM 2650...Is this good? Added on March 20, 2011, 1:28 amOrder below at the ECO Show DEKA Q8 : RM 340 x 4 Q7 : RM 268 x 3 X1 Chrome: RM 350 total of 2514 But after ordered, been informed that those remote control type of fan need those specilist to fix and adjustment included on Balancing. As the way it fix not the same as traditional way. Example: The motor part need to fix at the hook, than only fix those blades up, else it will be swinging and make sound after few days. Where the traditional way is fix already on group and bring up and hook. The specilist will cost another RM300. This post has been edited by Jo_da48: Mar 20 2011, 01:28 AM |

QUOTE(emperor81 @ Apr 2 2011, 11:39 PM) Where is the shop? do u have the add? Yes...the "some kind of magnet included" are important....and I have check with my contractor, he said No Problem lal except your fan is trouble market and different that other manifacturing... and he will do according to the book if want, include fix the motor up than only the plate..Added on April 2, 2011, 11:45 pm My frenz install one 5 units himself... He said that, the sales man told him in Deka packaging, there is some kind of magnet included... the purpose is to make the fan stable... the fan came with instruction on how to use it to make ur fan stable after installation... So, if this cost u additional rm300, better u keep the rm300 and insttall by urself... i am also currently looking for deka, but looking for a good price :-) Perhaps will let him try one...after my new house ready on 2 months time. |

QUOTE(weikee @ Aug 14 2011, 09:08 PM) The wood still got hook mah. It need to support some minimal weight. Last time i read is about 30kg++. Now the fan don't have this instruction anymore. Friend, this is how the plaster ceiling folk will do. If you tell them that will be a Fan, that wood plus wood together, if you tell them it will be a light (not downlight) he will also put a wood there except you alreayd know what type of light, because they worry that the plaster ceiling metal can't support itAt this point, I have around 8 light point installed with wood, so that I could just use it when I want |

Anyone could shared price for below?
Panasonic F-M14E8 / F-M15E6 / F-M14C8WT? KDK K15Y6 (V Touch) / Sensa 5 (K15Z9) Sensa 4 (K14Z9) Below is what I found from this topic 1) Panasonic F-M14C8WT (RM238) 2) KDK K14X8-CL (RM280) K14X8-GY (RM2255) Due to my lower ceiling, most Deka ceiling fan that I plan to purchase cant fill in anymore, as it almost touch by my hand as the Fan length from Pully to PCB COver are almost 48cm instead of 44 cm in the specification. That worst thing the Deka WEB even indicated was 32cm only Now I have to see for above fan which 30.6 - 40cm lenght |

QUOTE(weikee @ Nov 7 2011, 12:02 AM) 48cm, that is like 1 and 1/2 feet. If not mistake normal on panasonic are 44cm (17 inch)..http://www.panasonic.com.my/wps/portal/home/products/homeappliances/electricfan/ceilingfanI was looking at Panasonic Bayu, think is RM 370+- each, about 10", But since now my fan area, ceiling height is >9 feet, i am looking at normal Panasonic which is only 12" to 14" Added on November 7, 2011, 12:20 amThink not Bayu, maybe is Yuragi, or Nami. Try "Top 10" at puchong, should be cheaper. Cause Legend sales staff also ask me buy there, Legend can't match their price. 9-9.6 feets will make the fan look low This post has been edited by Jo_da48: Nov 7 2011, 12:28 AM |

QUOTE(kamion @ Nov 7 2011, 12:13 PM) Finally, I bought and installed Deka X6 fans in my upstairs rooms with ceiling height of about 8.5 feet. It's not *too* bad. At least I can't touch the bottom of the fan (the middle part) without tip toeing. ANy cut on the tube and leave what gap before touching (1 feets)? My room was around 9.4 feets, if put the X8 (48cm) it only leave me around 5 inch gaps, is also will give me a shadow on my downlight (one of the room) as the plat too low |

QUOTE(kamion @ Nov 7 2011, 11:23 PM) I didn't cut the tube. Installed as is. I will measure tomorrow to see what is the total height of the fan. Maybe I feel unsafety if below 1 feet when i raised my hand 9.4 feet shouldn't be a problem for any fan. My electrician will try to look for 6 inch tube (original 1 feet) for me. Or anyone have good recommendation place and good quality place that I could puchase the Pipe? |
