It could be that the seller connected your set via HDMI and forgot to revert it back to the AV output setting.

press the power button for about 10 second until u hear the second beep.. that'll reset the video output to SD.. note that this will also reset ur custom theme to original theme.

ahhh....learnt a lesson...read the instruction manual 1st!!!
sigh....problem solve by pressing the start button for few seconds

PS: yes, the seller connect using HDMI cable when i test the unit there

i jus bought a silver malaysia's editin ps3 day before n i lend a controller from my friend but i cant pair it v my ps3 even though i close all the controller.....

the led light jus keep flashing n switch off.....

any idea wad happen???

p/s: it works on my friend ps3

connect it via usb cable to sync with that ps3

if failed, there is a reset button on the back of the controller

but i had reset mani time n it easily connect to my frined ps3

2. Asia version ( SG , HK & JAP ) belongs to their origins to claim the warranty , Sony Malaysia wont accept any Asia PS3.

that's why every update weighs 120MB++ because they flash the whole firmware everytime ppl updates the ps3

psn always dc...no prob wif modem & streamyx...also taking long time to connect to psn...

No, Malaysian PS3 set is actually the same model as the 80GB HK model. The only difference is the official Malaysian warranty from Sony Malaysia
