QUOTE(unrealweapon @ Dec 10 2008, 01:30 PM) Sony Style Malaysia is selling: so, it doesn't matter what set I get...as long as the game is in same region, I can play multiplayer and all?http://www.sony.com.sg/corporate/resources...08_PS3_80GB.pdf SG set. PS3 games are region free.. only the regions are applied to BD movies or multiplayer gaming. |

can anyone here tell me where to get the extended warranty form? I read about it somewhere and my friend (who owns the PS3) doesn't have it.

I wonder if anyone here can help me. I'm trying to figure out the warranty difference between MY set and SG set. Talked to a salesperson today and he say the lens problem is not covered in the warranty, only labor is. Besides the lens...what does the MY warranty cover which SG does not? Or is it just the location of the repair centre?

I'm trying to register my personal information in the Playstation warranty website but it keeps on asking to fill up 'District' which has only dashes (---). Can you guys register without problem?

now I'm trying to connect the PS3 to the net...using a normal modem. Mine's a basic wired Aztech modem. The Sony Style sales fella said I'm supposed to put in my streamyx user and pass but can't find such option in the menu....guides only show how to connect through router too. Do I need a router to connect to the net?

QUOTE(panda-man @ Jan 15 2009, 11:51 AM) put in the thumbdrive. tried that...video or MP3...doesn't work. It can detect the thumb drive...I used this to update the PS3 system. But it doesn't show the video or songs in the drive.under video in xmb there should be your thumbdrive listed. go to the file and open up the menu. (sometimes the file not there. you gotta click show all files or something like that) click copy/transfer i think thats correct. in my mind thats how i remember doing it. heh. |
