QUOTE(crapp0 @ Apr 19 2009, 09:18 AM) Just watched the movie taken at amk hub. very good movie but seems that singapore very slow to show the movies. Coz malaysia showed it much earlier. Reminds me of steven seagal and jean claude van damme movies back in the early 90s fix in with a little but if jason bourne. But is more aggressive in nature and the theme is revenge. its was late for like almost half a year to get it showed in Asia, WTF. i was all hooked up by the trailer back then, end up cant wait n watched it online a few months ago. Bryan made Bond looks like a pu$$y. This post has been edited by Chrisky: Apr 19 2009, 09:24 AM

QUOTE(noisyarsenic @ Apr 18 2009, 09:43 PM) Hi, I'm thinking of applying for singapore PR status. Do anyone know where can translate my documents (e.g birth cert, BEM cert) to english? I've tried to look for infos regarding the so called "official translator" in the net but to no avail . I didn't bother to translate my doc (like birth cert, SPM cert) when I applied (since Bahasa Malay is SG's national language). Btw what is BEM cert?

Thanks for the clarification. In that case, I'll just submit the documents in Malays then, can save me translation $$ . BEM cert is the cert given by Board of Engineers Malaysia to engineer who work in malaysia. Engineers in malaysia are obligated to register to the board to legally practice engineering in malaysia. Hi, few pages ago someone mentioned that SG police is recruiting ASEAN citizen, but I couldn't find such info after going through SPF website. All jobs listed only stated Singaporean & PR. Does that info actually refer to SPF or just auxiliary police? Or SPF has a scheme to recruit non-PR and help them obtain PR by the time they completed training?

A decade ago, my Malacca classmate in UK told me he saw such advertisement i Malacca press seeking Malaysians to be in the Police force.

I think that recruitment was for the auxiliary police (or private security guards) rather than the SPF.
