Hi all,
Is the IT industry in Singapore hit hard by the current crisis? What are the chances of getting a programmer job for a TARC degree holder, 1 yr experience with average skill set in .NET?
How many here in IT got their job by travelling down to SG for interview, instead of staying in SG and search for job?

Hi all,
I posted this question before but seems like it was drowned among all the posts.

QUOTE(hkhk @ Apr 9 2009, 10:21 PM) Yours is Singapore Police or Auxiliary Police ? You wll need to go thru a 9 month training right ? Ya.. I saw some ads at news paper, they are recruiting ASEAN citizen as police officer in Singapore.. Maybe they will be required to apply for PR.. Any link I can check? Don't seem to find this info on their website...

Hi, few pages ago someone mentioned that SG police is recruiting ASEAN citizen, but I couldn't find such info after going through SPF website. All jobs listed only stated Singaporean & PR. Does that info actually refer to SPF or just auxiliary police? Or SPF has a scheme to recruit non-PR and help them obtain PR by the time they completed training?

Hi guys, for those working in Sg, mind sharing your experience in job-hunting in Sg? For the benefits of those thinking to work in Sg. You guys just travelled down for interviews or quit your job in M'sia first then hunt in Sg? Any tips on job-hunting and interview in Sg, besides the usual oft-repeated advice (be confident lah, dress up lah. etc)? This post has been edited by topmankl: May 5 2009, 10:18 AM
