Well, I would guess it'll be around RM1.2k, since it's new.

Do keep in mind, the Sto-Fen (if real) would cost you about RM80 (right? ), RM50 if it's an imitation and the batteries another RM150 (4pcs Eneloop + 4batt charger). Maybe you could bargain the seller to let it go to you for RM800.

thats why i wonder why so many has the sigma 10-20mm rather than the canon 10-22mm. both is used for crop body only so the ef-s mount issue isn't valid here. or maybe its just the owners never come out with their poisonous photos.

yea its a hard choice between the 430EX II & the 580EX II for those not needing the master/slave setup and extra reach...i'm gonna wait for awhile for reviews to pop up before deciding.

That's why I'm in dilemma

Siggy 10-20mm ftw!

Many people get S10-20 rather than C10-22 mostly because of the distortion. People thinking about getting fisheye lens but worry it will underutilized so they take precaution move by getting S10-20 for it's well known distortion, great looking distortion. If they dislike the distortion, they will probably go for Tokina for its' fixed aperture at f2.8 rather than getting Canon UWA.

Canon 10-20mm f3.5-4.5 USM - I love the USM and longer focal length.
Tokina 11-16mm f2.8 - I love the sharpness and big aperture f2.8
Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 HSM - I love the distortion

Anybody tried the Tamron SP AF11-18mm F/4.5-5.6 Di-II LD?
Seems like quite cheap, pretty tempted to grab one to molest.

Will inform you guys if I'm selling mine. Currently my friend selling his Siggy 105mm f2.8 Macro and Canon 50mm f1.4 USM only. Another one might be selling his 580exII. I might be selling off 2/3 of my UWA lenses after I get the Canon 10-22mm f3.5-4.5 USM and maybe Tamron 11-18mm f4.5-5.6 if I'm really that nothing else better to do.

let meknow quick if the 580 is cheap.

before you sell can borrow to play play or not? or at least to a review for all those lens? u'd probably be the most resourceful to do this...

well, different from everyone going for UWA, i'm actually more interested to buy a telephoto zoom. who else play before sigma 50-500, 80-400, 120-300, and the canon 100-400L??

I would suggest you to get Canon 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS + Sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro
That Canon is good for telephoto for its 4-stop-IS technology
For portrait / macro, you can use the sharp Sigma 105mm f2.8 Macro

siggy 10-20 have the fisheye effect? always wanted a fisheye lense but worried that my 400D cannot use, only ff WILL have the fisheye effect

The heavy distortion on Siggy 10-20mm f4-5.6 HSM gives it a little fishyy-eye effect
Don't worry, I've tested it on my 300/350/400/20/30/40D and no vignetting effect.

nola i'm not that rich. i'd love to have them though but they are not in my priority list. i was trying to say that it seems that i'm the only one looking into telephoto >300mm

Aiya, I believe there are a lot more aiming for >300mm lens IF they have the budget and IF they need to have such long focal length. All my 12 lenses are shorter than 200mm. Might grab an allrounder Siggy 70-300mm f4-5.6 Macro APO for longer reach if I really need something to reach far subjects. Not ready to invest in a 10k+ lens like the 300mm f2.8 L
