Canon 40D users,
Any of you guys/girls have any luck of viewing RAW via Windows Explorer? Downloaded the latest codec (Canon RAW Codec 1.3) but still no luck...

QUOTE(Pennywise @ Aug 6 2008, 10:10 PM) Sorry if this is a newbie question. When we take raw, we can still adjust brightness and saturation, etc, yes? Do we need to install the Canon CD software to do that or what? Yeap. You can use Photoshop or Lightroom to do the job.

QUOTE(wjie20 @ Aug 7 2008, 10:57 PM) Shall we move on to the next topic? Like, why is it....some people's photos are so rich in colors when mine are like...dull... did you try adjusting saturation settings?

QUOTE(jdreamer @ Aug 14 2008, 10:53 AM) What's UWA? UWA = Ultra Wid Angle I own one (17-40mm) and I'm quite satisfied with it.

QUOTE(jdreamer @ Aug 14 2008, 11:04 AM) What body do you have? Is 17-40L the only lens that you have, or you have other range to compensate the length? I'm using Canon 40D. My other lens is Sigma 18-200mm DC OS.

QUOTE(Xannava @ Aug 23 2008, 11:37 PM) And sorry one more about the 70-200, is IS important for that lens? Thanks. It is heavy (f/2.8 would be the heaviest) as it might affect your handling/shots. You might not need it if you have monopod or something to rest on.
