Wow, reach there so early. At 9:10pm, I just left Klang. Beside the bridge is a land somewhere like underneath the bridge is it?

Camera body on M mode, lens remained on AF is it? I read somewhere to use ISO100, shutter speed set to bulb and aperture to F/8 - F/11 but somehow, it's hard to get it to focus. So in the end, I used Tv mode and burst shot instead.
Hahahaha... I thought you buying soon. Starting saving now, many months to come eh? Sept is many, Oct is many many. Oct is when it's out, can get it then. smile.gif

Well to me, if you wanna take shots of fireworks, rest your camera on your tripod, set manual (f11-f18 TRIAL AND ERROR just ) , bulb mode.

A remote shutter release thingy is recommended as in so you won't shake ur camera, but if you do not have it i recommened you set the shutter to 15-20 sec.. For bulb mode, press ur shutter when the firework starts, the sensor will record the image. Hold it throughout and cover the lense with a black card for shots you don't want, take off the card again if theres another surge of fireworks. You can have multiple fireworks in once single pic this way. Release the shutter once everythings done. If you do not have a remote shutter release just set the shutter speed to 15-20sec, use the black card technique..This may take a bit of practice hehehe.

Save in RAW so you can adjust WB and stuff to your liking when editing your picture.

Regarding focusing, its best to just autofocus at the spot u think the fireworks will be after that set to MF, and don't mess with it anymore.

A new addition to the family.. Tamron 90mm Di F2.8 1:1 Macro
user posted image

First time using Tamron, their lens design so retro, reminds me of Sony/minolta's lenses..
