**Error 0xe8000051 on Mac. Use Stuffit Expander to extract the ipcc file. Other unzip software does unzip correctly.

For the attachment iPhone 3.1 ipcc just remove the .zip at the end.



Easy way to install.... just 2 sec

Open iTunes, Press option-click(Mac) or shift(Windows) + press "Check for Update". Choice the ipcc file, select it

Done...

Jailbreak your iPhone.
SSH to ur iPhone using WinSCP for windows or Cyberduck/Fugu for mac user.

For Cyberduck:

Download CyberDuck FTP for free at the following link:

http://cyberduck.ch/

Get your iPhone's IP address, go to:

Settings > Wi-Fi

Click the little Blue Arrow next to your wireless access point. (Get the IP address)

Open up CyberDuck FTP, and go to Open Connection.

In the Protocol drop down menu, set it to SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer)

For IP, type in your phones IP Address.

For your username / pass use the following:

username: root
password: dottie or alpine

Now press connect, and let it connect to your iPhone.

Now you can access your iPhone.

Use GOOGLE for more detail

copy paste to ur phone /System/Library/Carrier Bundle

theres no mymaxis folder in the phone..i still dun get it..

You may need to redownload the MYMAXIS.zip file again if your downloaded file is corrupted. When you unzip, you will see a 50212 folder with the MYMAXIS.bundle

then copy to the iPhone dir as gengstapo mentioned.

Restart your phone.

same here, downloaded few time for celcom. jz a single file call MYCELCOM_v2 inside only

Seems like some are having touble downloading files form LY. Maybe browser used?? Anyway, here's the link.

You can try using i-funbox as they have updated it to work with fw 2.1 and you're able to see the root folders without JB. Have not tried it but worth a try.

just tried.. cant see the root folders on my iphone.. too bad..

Sorry mate. Read that the only way to access the root folder is thru JB method.

Very nice. Thanks alot. Maxis & Hotlink logos Looks kewl on firmware 2.0. Only 1 can be installed at a time. I chose Maxis out of both.

try to download using other web browser, maybe some web browser got error when downloading file, mine have to dl 5~6 times using different web browser then after that can..

Bro, your path sudah salah la.

If you read the first post, it says System/Library/Carrier Bundles. Not private/var/root/Library. Then place the files in Carrier Bundles n restart.

Just bought an officially unlocked iphone and i would like to have the logo too.
Im not using a mac but a pc, so i have no idea how to get it on.

I've downloaded WinSCP as said in page one
but i need some direction on the usage and how to go about it.

Any help from fellow brothers will be much appreciated

U can't access ur root folder without jailbreaking ur iPhone.
So u can't change any of the files.
So the carrier logos won't work.

The guidelines that you guys posted here serves me well....

just did mine on FW 2.2 (Maxis). it's working but i realised that the Maxis logo not aligned with the signal bars and 3G/EDGE/GPRS icon.

I'm using i-funbox with 2.2 FW . does it works ? tried to drag all the files but still failed.

Is usually in System/Library/Carrier Bundles. Have a look and see if the folders are there.

so correct me if im wrong, we are creating the folder so by which i have to drag and add the folder via SSH?

The 50212 folder does not come with the iPhone. You do not need to create the folder. All you need is to manually place the 50212 folder(downloaded from first post) to the path required. Then reboot to see changes.

I reackon so unless you place all the telco folders on first post in your iPhone. So when you change your simcard like Digi or Celcom, the icons will appear. Give it a try.
