Need help here. I have downloaded the Digi ipcc 3.1 after unzip but iTunes did not able to detect the ipcc file.

My fw 3.1.2 (iPhone 3g)
iTunes 9.0

I'm also lost my tethering function. Thanks for any help.

you need to do as following if using itunes 9

1. click start
2. click on run
3. type cmd
4. copy and paste this to cmd

"C:\Program Files\iTunes\iTunes.exe" /setPrefInt carrier-testing 1

Yep I have read and apply countless of times even with the correct spelling. The problems is iTunes unable to detect the ipcc file. Have downloaded through explorer, Mozilla and safari but unable to rename as ipcc file. Frustrated for the 3rd day now.

really correct spelling ka... as i also put wrong before...

its suppose to be /setPrefInt (its capital I) i have mistakenly put it as small letter L...

i tried to update carrier settings for my iphone 3gs using ->> Original_iPhone_3.1_Maxis_my.ipcc.zip

the cellular network setting appeared already.
the settings are correct
Maxis 3G Settings
APN: unet or net
APN name: maxis
APN password: wap

but when i tried surfing internet using safari. it still show cellular network not activated. debug console. bla bla..

any ways to fix? please advice..

tether option for digi disappear after i enabled it :-/ try to restore again but no appearing anymore any idea why?

i'm having the same problem here. trying a lot of thing right now to disable EDGE. nothing seems to work coz outdated.

after update digi ipcc my thethering dissapear can anybody tell me how to fix this ASAP PLZ need to do assignment

iPhone version = 3.1.3 (7E18)
Windows version = Windows 7 (64bit)

after trying to manually changing apn and downloading iphonenodata.com, i still cant shut down my edge/3g permanantly. guess i will have final choice of deactivating 3g from my sim card..

When maxis ipcc file will available for iOS 4.0?

Does anyone here have the original Celcom IPCC file? since the 3.1 version just screws up the tethering option (even after adding other profile).

You have to remove the Quotation marks at the beginning and trailing.

Just enter


No need " and " in between.
