Erm, i have questions.
1) Using 3Gs 3.1.2 but can't connect to internet via 3g/edge. But through WiFi can. Also, it says "Cannot activate Cellular Data Network" and i do not have the Cellular Data Network column.
So, is it right to proceed to :

i subscribe to maxis idata 500mb per month...
if i didnt use it for internet surfing and so & didnt install this carrier logos, ipcc file [kinda confusing to me]
will i still worried bout the excessive charges?? will it be more than 500mb per month??
roughly, how many megabytes will be used if this 'carrier logos' is not installed?

maybe after my contract ends with maxis, only come back to this confusing stuff... lol!

in my cellular data the mms max message size actually is for wat purpose? guide from forum stated we need to key in like tis

MMS Max Message Size: 307200 (tis is kb or mb)

will it affect my data tranfer size? will tis cause my credit fly high or not? can i put it 30 or any other number? pls help.. thanks

About this IPCC file, since I can't see the "Cellular Data Network" tab, would installing an IPCC file allow me to see it?

Also, which one would be suitable for me?

is thr a new update for maxis ipcc?

the one posted on the first post (3.1) should be the latest.

but i cannot disable the data by putting fake APN inside cellular data with the ipcc at 1st post

You NEED to do it on itunes 9

my itunes 9 shift + check for updates doesnt point to .ipcc file? only show ipsw..... what could go wrong?

but the first post refer to itunes 8...

or is it outdated ?

it's advisable to do it via the latest version of iTunes.

the CMD command on the tut doesnt work, it still doesnt show any .ipcc...
